Only eat their food because they deliver to us. It's not great, not terrible, but not exciting. The delivery used to be lightening fast and now you're lucky to see it in 2 hours even if you live 3 blocks away. The chick who takes the orders has bigtime attitude and loves to argue especially when she makes the mistakes.

Delivery service has gone downhill recently. I've lived near this restaurant for 3 years and have placed To Go and Delivery orders from them several times. The food is ok, but unfortunately the delivery service has really suffered recently. There is a woman who frequently answers the phone and she has a bad habit of getting the order, the delivery address, or whatever else wrong. When you call in to inform her of her mistake, she'll argue with you and tell you how it's your fault and not hers. I literally was on the phone with her for 20 minutes once after she sent me the wrong dish, and she went through about 8 explanations of why it was my fault. I could refute each of her claims but instead of admitting culpability and resolving the issue, she'd just make up some more accusations against me to cover up her own mistake. Her attitude and behavior is quite appalling and goes far beyond any translation problem. I was hoping this was an isolated incident, but I've recently heard neighbors and friends complain about the delivery service from this restaurant too. Hopefully management will take care of the person in question, but until then I recommend driving to Szechwan Palace and placing your order in person.

Not so authentic, but pretty good. The staff speaks Mandarin Chinese, but the food is about as authentic as most Chinese restaurants in the States. Food flavors are less intense and rich than real Chinese food, especially the soups, which are relatively flat. However, authenticity aside, the food is pretty good and for $5-6, you can get soup, salad, and an entry during their lunch hours. They do takeout, but the quiet atmosphere is nice place to get a meal. Much like you'd get in China, tea comes with the meals and most tables have a lazy suzan for Chinese style eatingputting the dishes on the lazy suzan to share with everyone, which is a great way to get a taste of different dishes. Don't let a bad dish ruin the experience, though. Certain dishes like the curry chicken and sweet and sour pork leave something to be desired. But most items I and my friends have tried, notably the beef and broccoli and the cashew chicken, are delicious. After your meal don't forget to say, "xie xie" (thank you).
