Classic Italian trattoria and a neighborhood favorite. The menu has no frills staples like lasagna, ravioli and penne alla norma. All of the pastas are filling and satisfying. The space is romantic and inviting.

Terrible Service. I had food delivered now several times. 5 out of 7 times the food is either cold or wrong. When i call about the wrong orders they basically tell you to screw yourself. Delivery time is always well over an hour

what idiots....... i've been here several times, and as everyone agrees, the food is great. but, the service is very disappointing, and rather baffling. last night, 3 of us sat down for dinner and ordered wine. not the cheap house wine, but the real good stuff. we waited a long time to get our wine; not sure why. it wasn't that crowded.

while studying the extensive menus, we asked for some bread to munch on. THE WAITER REFUSED TO GIVE US BREAD, saying we had to order entrees first. we asked several employees for bread and were ignored by all. what is this? maybe next time (if there is one) we'll bring our own bread......

our total bill was around $140. how much do you have to spend to get bread with your wine?

Thin Crust!. Crisp, crunchy, thin-crust pizzas are served fresh and hot at this Los Feliz pizzeria. The varieties range from classics like margherita and pepperoni to more interesting choices like the Vegetariana, which is the perfect option for non-meat eaters and comes loaded with eggplant, bell peppers, mushrooms and radicchio.

Best Silver Lake/Los Feliz Delivery. Farfalla is def the best delivery in the neighborhood. It's not cheap, but you can get an amazing pasta tre funghi delivered. And the apple tarte for dessert is also great.

Best Italian on the East side of LA!. The best Northern Italian food on the East side of LA! I can't go anywhere else without always making comparisons to this place. Mouthwatering pastas, excellent fish and meat, and pretty good prices. Farfalla offers excellent service (my waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu) and one of the city's best wine lists. Sometimes they have a long wait but it's always worth it.

If you have a friend visiting LA from Italy..... I used to work in commercial productions, and had a lot of crew visiting from Europe. When they wanted to go to an Italian restaurant, I'd take them to Farfalla's. There are a lot of good but expensive Italian restaurants, such as Madeo, Celestino, and others, but Farfalla is the kind of restaurant that reminds you of a small neighborhood restaurant in an Italian town you happen to come across - and "wow, what a good find" you'd think (and then keep going back afterwards.) I wouldn't say it's cheap but for the quality, it's a bargain. The food is consistently good. One less star because it's always full. You'd better make a reservation if you want to be seated right away.

My favorite place. Whether it's a special occasion or just one of those nights you need pampering, Farfalla is the place to go. The atmosphere is neighborhood casual and cozy. The food is always terrific and the menu specials are consistently outstanding. Their wine list is one of the best around and the staff are always willing to help. The staff have always been friendly and willing to answer questions -- even when the restaurant gets busy. If you haven't already discovered the delights of Farfalla, I highly recommend that you do. If you're coming after 8, you might have a wait but it's definitely worth it.

An Los Feliz Home Away From Home. As a resident of Los Feliz for more than a decade, I was lucky to have stumbled into this neighborhood find early on. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. Making this restaurant a great retreat after a hard day's work. The food is always impeccable. The staff is as warm, alluring and comforting as the food on their menu. And their extensive wine list -- although it could be a bit intimidating to someone like me who is not familiar with Italian wine -- is easily conquered, especially with the guidance of Andreas or Tara. It's the first place I think of when I want to celebrate a great event or to introduce a new friend to this wonderful neighbor I call home.

New York type restaurant, fantastic wine list. An Extensive wine list I would rate as one of the best in LA. There is something for everyone on the menu. We had a wonderful eggplant parmesan appetizer, the polenta fungi, and arugala salad to start; all wonderful- a great pesto and goat cheese pizza, wild brocoli ravioli, grilled salmon and lamb chops second and tiramisu and torta della nonna for dessert. This trattoria is a neighborhood gem. Highly recommend!

Great service, great food, great ambiance - definite date material. The service is great, the food is equally good (just watch that your eyes aren't too big for your stomach, you'll get hurt by their generous use of olive oil), and the ambiance makes me feel like I'm eating at a restaurant in northern Italy. My tastes are simple, but I would recommend the penne arrabbiata (though I think you'll probably be happy with just about anything you order).

I have eaten here countless times, both with friends and in large groups, and I will continue to do so in the future.
