good restaurant, very memorable food

Flore has the best vegan Reuben sandwiches and chocolate cake. It is really unbelievable.

Comfort food for the vegan set, but meat-lovers love it too. The Tu-No Melt satisfies & won’t give you mercury poisoning. The Reuben rocks!
Makes you feel like your eating dorm food from UC Berkeley in the middle of hipsterville. All the raw, vegan, and GF food you can ask for. Quinoa Tabouli Wrap, and burrito Flore are delish, get w vegan potato salad.

Great laid back vibe that makes it perfect for lunch. I always order the vegan Ruben and ginger lemonade. Delicious and affordable.
I drool every-time I hear the name "Flore".
I cannot forget Flore, even though I have only been once. You know a restaurant is good if it leaves you with such a great impression after one visit. If I was in Silverlake more often I would eat there all the time, and I consider driving across town just to dine there again.
Martha Burr's review described the atmosphere well - it's a hip, artsy spot. The food is very memorable: I had a quesadilla and a B.L.T.A. Flore also introduced The Meet Market, which I look forward to checking out.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Some places capture the zeitgeist of a neighborhood and this vegan bistro is one of them, buzzing with an undeniable Silverlake energy, crammed with as many hipsters per square inch imaginable: scruffy and unshaven locals shuffle in for tofu scrambles and wheat-free pancakes, skinny post-punk fashionistas sport their locally made Eastside duds (check out Silverlake designer Matrushka next door), and slacker artists pack the sidewalk tables downing lattes with oat milk. Vintage mirrors, eclectic fixtures and ironic thrift store paintings hang over the cozy dining room studded with leather booths and an open kitchen. The organic vegan menu includes raw dishes like cold carrot ginger soup, jicama tacos, and kale and apple salad, joined by a roundup of cafe fare like a breakfast burrito, tempeh Reuben, quinoa tabouli wrap, black bean and roasted vegetable burger, and tomato basil pizza.
