I just don't understand why this restaurant get only 1 star..
I work around the area. and I went there twice a week.every thing is was good for me nothing is bad.
The price is good and the food is not like the other restaurant near by I prefer this one because is not very busy store good thing is the food come fast and not so noise.
Fast delivery. They driver came really fast sometime is less than 30 minutes
Dont even waste your time. I should have listened to my gut and just cooked that night. The phone service was horrible. Not only did whatever moron that was working the phone get my number wrong, she also told me I was out of their delivery area. I only live 5 blocks from Venice and Overland. Since when did 5 blocks turn into 3 miles. Then the genius proceed to transfer me to a closer restaurant...... in Marina Del Rey. What GED flunky did you people let near the phones? So eventually afte 2 managers and a bus boy, they finally decifer that code that is my address and send me my food. So I wait. And wait. and wait. I watched Ray.. A damn near 3 hour movie before my food arrived. Did it arrive hot. No... Of course not. It arrive cold as ice from a driver who claims to have gotten lost. How do you get lost if I only live 5 blocks away?!?! You can see it from my house. And of course Rip Van Winkle wanted a tip. Please. Here is a tip. If you wanna make people wait then ask for payment in return go work at the DMV. They love people like you. Hey East Wind. You're the worst.
decent takeout.
It's close and convenient to my house. The place is affordable and clean. It's decent for take-out .
The Menu as in all thai food restaurants is endless and it is hard to know which items are good. Personally, I like the oyster sauce based entrees. The pinapple fried rice is also good
I have had much better Thai food but I beilieve this place beats Nathali Thai accross the street at any time and it is a convenient last minute take out idea for people in the area..
mediocre food, bad karma. I only noticed until after the meal, but the service people had over charged my bill on the credit card. I wrote clearly on the receipt and this is the first time it has ever happened to me. I won't bother alerting them to this since it's a small amount but I will warn anyone who wants good service and good thai food to look at the plenty of other options nearby.
Thai mini-chain serves traditional dishes in an eclectic atmosphere..
In Short
The decor at this mini-chain is a hodgepodge of themes; African-inspired masks share a wall with a clock that marks the hours with Thai numbers. The menu features traditional Thai dishes like tom yum koong, spicy lemongrass soup with shrimp. The shrimp tempura is Thai-style, thick and heavy unlike the light Japanese equivalent. Sweet and sour tofu, pad thai sprinkled with ground peanuts and yellow curry chicken with an Indian accent are other typical choices.
