THIS PLACE SUCKS. This place BLOWS! They falsely advertise that you get in free before 10:30 and free shots before 11. They don't let anyone in before 10:30, so YOU HAVE TO PAY and they DONT GIVE FREE SHOTS. The drinks are $10 for a small plastic cup of mixed drink and $7 for small plastic cups of beer. Everyone that worked there said that some girl would walk around with free shots, but this isnt true (which was advertised). The manager that works there is rude (and not to mention he looks like a rat). I already posted a bunch of flyers all over UCLA saying that this is a horrible place. I FELT LIKE I WAS AT A HIGH SCHOOL PROM. DONT GO HERE. I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS.

Great place to hang with friends.. Ok I dont know if the service has improved since the reviewers below went in 2007 but I think this place is a fun place to hang out and have some drinks with the girls. There "Happy Hour" is totally a score with $5 drinks and the food is great. I love the Fried Sweet Potatoes! The only thing I would complain about would be the pricing of the food. It could get REALLY pricey. But its a relaxed place to chill with friends and have some drinks. I love going there with friends and the people I have taken there like it too.

Worst time I ever had. If you like to save some time and have a little piece and happiness on a Sunday night do not go to Ummba Grill in the Westfield mall in Santa Monica.. The food is a joke. The drinks aren't bad but you can get better at a local 7-11. The service is a complete and utter joke. First they promote happy hour from 4 to 7 pm. The only happy about this hours is 7:01 when it ends. You get there and they make you wait for 15 minutes. Then when you finally get them to come to your table it takes the server three turns to get your order right. 15 minutes later they bring your drinks. 30 minutes later the server comes back to take you dinner order. 15 minutes later he comes back with your dinner order cold and wrong. The savings $1.00 off for the drinks. For two expect to pay $50.00. Tips optional unless you don't like to get a dirty look from a useless server. Unless you are into SnM looking to be abused avoid Ummba Grill.

Good Food, F_ _ _ED UP Service. Listen up guys and Dolls, I went with my boyfriend and a couple of ours to Ummba Grill @ The Century City Mall/ Westfield Shopping Center. At first we liked the lounge area and the cocktails. They have Brazilian cocktails from I believe 4-7 pm every day for $5.00 Can't beat that! The food was pretty good, but the service was F@#*&eED UP. The waitor was so lazy that he had another gentleman who was siitting directly across form us at the bar hand over our drinks twice. I felt that I should have tipped the gentleman who was trying to have a good time and unwind. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT! I know this is in the Mall on the top floor, but service should never be done like that regardless of where you eat. You can still take pride in what you do.
