awesome spicy food, friendly customer service, always friendly staff, best good thai food, colorful restaurant, never bad experience, fast delivery
Not Kid Friendly.
The food was ok but I cannot believe that their description on here says that it's a good place for kids after the experience I've just had.
My husband and I were visiting with some friends who have a 9 month old and decided on this place.
It was around six pm on a Sunday (not an unreasonable time to go out to dinner with a child) and it was not very busy (about 5 other people). However, when my friends child started to fuss (fuss not cry I'd like to note) a man came over and asked if we could get him to calm down.
I was appalled by this behavior. The only thing he accomplished was embarrassing the parents and making us feel rushed.
We asked for the check and left ASAP.
I would never come here again, kid or no kid.
This is not a child friendly establishment at all!!!!
Great food, nice service, fast delivery. Great glass noodles with tofu-- they know how to cook tofu! And their yellow curry with chicken is a fav, too. WIth brown rice. Yum! Super fast delivery, too. Nice folks.
Best Thai food in Town Ever..
I've been to Kinaree for almost couple years now. I will never eat thai food anywhere else since. Their Chicken Sa-tay is really delicious with their homemade peanut sauce. The steamed basil mussles is really tasty with the chili lime sauce. I will say most of their food is pretty yummy and another best thing they use only White Meat chicken. Their spicy glass noodle is amazing, this dish is one of my favorite now. And you can ask them to make it more spicy the way you want it.
The staff is always friendly and provide quick and pleasant service. And I'm amazed that this is among the most in-expensive Thai food in town.
And the parking is a bit problem, you can park on the street or park on the 2nd floor at Ralphs next door which I've done that every time.
Fast Delivery. The yellow curry is great, I did not love their pad thai, but everything else that I have tried has been good.
Delicious food and friendly customer service.... I live about 2 blocks away from the Kinaree bistro and have dined there on several occasions. I have always had a good experience there. Everything I have ordered has been delicious - especially the Thai Duck salad with chili sauce, red onions and cilantro - yum!!!, they have the same salad with Beef or Shrimp instead of Duck which are really good too. I also love the Tom Kha soup. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and colorful - much more stylish and larger than a typical hole in the wall place. I like eating at the bar when I go there alone. They also serve beer and wine. Prices are very reasonable. Both the owner and the staff are very friendly and give great service. I will definitely be going back!
dont go there!. went to dinner there this weekend...and the place had atleast two rodents running around and the staff didnt care! they said it was because of the weather change.. we had to pay for our uneaten food!
I SAW something out of the ordinary running out of the kitchen.
horrible food
horrible service
horrible taste
horrible experience
horrible parking
horrible staff
Best Thai Food in Town. This place is a definite 'got to' spot. The service is fast; staff are hardworking and friendly; prices are beyond reasonable; and food is flavorful and consistently good. We stumbled upon this place 3 years ago and have loved it ever since. It's a reliable spot to take visiting friends and family to, and without fail, everyone we introduce the place to, loves it.
Great food, excellent service, nice atmosphere!.
I love Thai food and I've tried it at many restaurants here in Los Angeles. I've been going to Kinaree for almost five years now, and the family that owns and operates it is friendly and very professional. I keep going back to Kinaree because the service is friendly and prompt, the atmosphere is lovely (much nicer decoration than some of the other joints), and most importantly, I love the food! I highly recommend the Spicy Cashew Nuts with chicken, the Spicy Basil Chili with chicken or beef, the Tom Yum soup, the Hawaiian fried rice, and the Spicy Basil Chili fried rice with beef. Just typing this is making me crave the food!
Also, you can specify how spicy you want the food -- their normal spice (if you don't specify anything at all) has more flavor than a kick to your gut (which is great for my husband). For my mother-in-law and parents, who LOVE very spicy food, Kinaree actually met their spiciness standards when we ordered spicy level 3 or 4. So they'll definitely meet the needs of your palate!
