good price, nice harry, really recommend place, affordable repair, professional courteous, full shop, happy customer
My CLS had front end damage, they're doing great at helping me keep the prices to a minimal.
Great Auto Repair. I just had some body work done on my vehicle and Harry's did a great job, the car looks perfect and they finshed 3 days ahead of schedule. They were very nice and easy to deal with. Maybe I delt with someone different than the other reviewer, but I can't say enough good things about the service that I received.
The most expensive labor in L.A.. I was using Harry's for a year but i think they changed their price policy. Today i was there because of some minor problems, i wanted to get them fixed before i sell my car. They charged me $100 for putting a screw on bumper, $75 for putting another screw on muffler pipe and $25 fixing gas handler. Last time i went there, they told me that they wouldnt charge me anything for the bumper, so today i just left my car without asking how much it would cost because i thought it wouldnt cost more than 50-60 bucks, yet instead of screwing the bumper, they screwed me. Thanks Harry, good job!
Quality Automotive Repair. Is it true that Harry’s Auto Collision Center located at 1154 North La Brea Avenue in W. Hollywood is a first rate operation? Yes, it is in every respect! The owners Harry and Chris and the repair technicians are extremely good at what they do. We had the unpleasant experience of a traffic accident during a week day commute. Fortunately, after the dusk settled our 96 Honda Civic was drivable and able to make it home. After contacting our auto insurance company, we searched the internet for a repair shop and were influenced by customer comments, both good and bad. Our choice of this particular Harry’s Auto Collision Repair turned out to be the right choice. They not only expertly repaired the front end damage from the accident but in addition they repaired defects that were visible from age, wear and tear. We were pleasantly surprised when presented with a shiny; good looking 96 Honda Civic. My wife was speechless, I was elated. We are looking forward to many more miles of driving our new looking 96 Honda Civic. Thank you Harry and Chris!
I went in for brake pad replacement and they found that I needed to replace the rotors. I believe the previous place I got my brakes done might have screwed them up.
Had to come in for 2 separate visits due to ordering of the rotors. 2nd time didn't charge me tax or labor which was awesome. Yeah rotors range about 30-60$ each on the internet. But nice people.
BEST ON THE BLOCK. I brought my 2009 Lexus in to get a crushed bumper repaired. My dealer had recommended the other Harry's down on south La Brea near Olympic (please take note that this Harry's is on La Brea between Fountain and Santa Monica). The other Harry's can boast a high-end waiting room but this Harry provides exceptional service. I needed the cost of the repair to be slightly reduced so that my insurance would cover it and they adjusted the price without hesitation. I took the car in on Monday and they had it repaired and ready for me on Thursday -- a full day ahead of schedule. The work was beautiful. Chris took care of me. I met Harry as well. They're both really good guys. And incredibly honest -- a rarity in the world of auto repair. if you need a rental while your car is being repaired, they have a good deal with Enterprise Rental Cars who will come over and pick you up. Some fancy types might think that the waiting area is a bit funky but who cares -- it's a body shop! I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
These guys have become my friends.
Do you want to take your car to a shop that other customers recommend and trust completely?
These guys have done a lot of work for me over the years on four different cars. Engine work, brakes, suspension, paint and body, etc. It's nice to not have to worry about whether you're going to get what you need done. I just leave them my car, tell them what the problem is, and they always give me their best.
I've been going to Harry's for over ten years.
I trust them completely. They've become good friends. You shouldn't hesitate to bring them your business.
I have a 3000GT VR-4 - it's a rare bird.
A bearing was going fast and I was traveling to visit my daughter in Hollywood.
Harry took my car in, diagnosed it, effected repair, and got it back the same day.
Fast, fair, and friendly.
I wished I lived nearby so I could take my car to Harry and Chris.
This is the best automotive repair experience I have had in years.
My Lexus Looks Perfect After Accident. I would definitely trust my Lexus being fixed here again by Harry and Chris. They take such pride in their work. Aside from being a Geico-affiliated shop (I've had Geico for 20 years), Harry was very kind. I also saw a bunch of Mercedes and Audis there for servicing as well. While there, I also asked to have some additional pings/scratches on my doors fixed (done under a separate invoice for a few hundred) and it turned out great. Repainted a total of three doors (one was the accident plus body work on the door) and it looks brand new. It was shining and vacuumed inside when I picked it up. Couldn't be happier with the body work and it was ready by the day estimated. They work with Enterprise and can arrange for a pick up to rent a car very easily. And Enterprise was great too (the one on LaBrea a few blocks south of Target)
Attention, honesty, and good work.
I love this place! Years ago they replaced my brake pads, and I have had enjoyable visits to Harry's and to the property for my smog check as well, so I came back to the a few weeks ago — and again was very happy with the result.
Actually, although my gut was to go directly to Harry's when my brakes suddenly seemed to be failing, but instead I went to AAMCO. I actually did the online chat with AAMCO first, then came in and waited 3 hours for my turn. The result: the guy didn't want to work on my car. It needed a master cylinder and the guy in charge at the Melrose AAMCO simply said he didn't want to work on it. Never mind that I was scared to drive with brakes going so low. He sent me on my way. I can't say for sure but I think it was because he wanted the easy brake pad jobs, not this, plus my car was getting older so I was trying to decide how to deal with that.
I went straight to the shop where I knew I'd be treated in a friendly way, with respect. The guys there spent time with me, helping me know my options. He called for a parts price and gave me the pricing and I knew he was being very fair. He said he could do it right away. Then they allowed me to make some calls, get opinions, and reach a decision. I decided to have the master cylinder replaced. I took a short walk to Jon's market and food shopped, then dropped that food at the car as they worked. Another quick walk to Target (to get Hershey's Kisses as a thank you gift for the mechanics) and when I came back they were nearly done. One thing I love is that there is a lot to do while you're waiting.
Harry's is a busy place. Cars are always coming in and going out. The workers have always been nice when I've been there (about 5 times). I also pass by when I walk to local stores. I always get a good feeling there — and I am happy to bring them business and to recommend them.
