places should work. They actually came at night (!!) and gave me an hour (!!!) window! At night?! Only an hour window? Have you fainted in disbelief yet?

Our Sub-Zero freezer started making
excessive noise over the last few years (erratic defroster fan motor). I finally looked for a repair company, and based in part on Yahoo reviews, I decided to try Hi-Tech appliance repair. I was not disappointed. Professional, prompt, courteous, and a very reasonable cost. When the technician came out for the initial service call, OF COURSE the freezer performed flawlessly and had only factory new noise levels. The tech waited patiently for 45 minutes, and despite no excessive noise, believed what I told him, narrowed the problem down to the only issue it could be, and gave me several options with no pressure. (I decided to replace the fan motor--and the issue seems to be resolved.)
When the next appliance breaks, I'll give Hi-Tech appliance repair a call. I don't write

cooktop fixed!. I've used Hi-Tech Appliance on my old cooktop. The repair was completed in a timely manner, the price is very reasonable, and a thorough explanation of the problem was given to me with estimates for parts and labor that needed to be completed. KitchenAid Icemaker Finally Fixed. My ice maker in my KitchenAid refrigerator hasn't been working for a while but I finally decided to fix it. I called a different company and they said I need to replace the ice maker which would take a couple of days to order. I gave them a deposit, and ended up waiting for 3 1/2 weeks before calling Hi-Tech appliance repair. My advise to anyone looking for an appliance repair company, ask them if they are authorized by your manufacturer before anything else. As soon as I mensioned that I have a KitchenAid refrigerator, the phone operator at Hi-Tech said we are KitchenAid factory authorized. Ofcourse they said they have the ice maker in stock and they would come take a look. As soon as the technician arrived, he told me that my ice maker is fine and that I need a water valve which he also had in stock. He was done the same day in about 40 minutes. Hi-Tech appliance just gained a lifetime customer.
