I've never really felt compelled to
write a review for anything before but I couldn't understand the lack of reviews and moreover the lack of 5 star reviews.
First off (as a girl) you can never go wrong with Circus Disco The decor is pretty classy with their high ceilings and the chandelier that hangs from it. And best of all there are seats on the side if you get tired.
I'd have to say that my absolute favorite thing about Circus Disco is the atmosphere and people. Everyone is just having a good time and there to have fun. The guys are not creepers and properly introduce themselves before politely asking you to dance. I had been really turned off by clubs and their infestation of sexually frustrated people who were all there to find a one night stand and haven't been clubbing for two years now but after going to Circus Disco, I have seriously been going for several consecutive weeks now and it has always been a great time.
LOVE LOVE LOVE CIRCUS. I have partied in almost every major city and most of Europe's as well. Circus is at the top of my list. Heart you LA!
HOME. This is the best club I have ever been to, now I wont go anywhere else..... Ive never had a bad night at Circus....

Has the potential to be the best club on the west coast. Circus used to be my second home. I LOVE the venue. The staff is friendly and the vibe the crowd brings in is awesome. The problem is the owner and the upper management. They have no clue what they're doing. They think they know it all and have pushed away EVERY LARGE PROMOTION GROUP including GIANT, SPUNDAE, and NIKITA. They also pushed away RED. I remember when GIANT was running the show. The line was INSANE! Now the line moved to other clubs. Hmm. I wonder why? Maybe it's because of the big name DJ's that go there? Maybe it's because the other clubs took the time to do a LITTLE renovating. This hurts my feelings because I would love to see those big names come back to Circus. Right now it's dead. It's nowhere near it's potential. Right now I don't even want to go to my favorite venue to support. it's depressing.
Hollywood super-club with two completely different identities--and orientations..
The Scene
While most L.A. clubgoers know this sprawling complex as home of the glamorous, superstar DJ-anchored club Spundae on Saturdays, gay party people know it as a time-honored Tuesday and Friday tradition--and the two atmospheres couldn't be more different. An equally gorgeous, but more gruff-looking, b-boy-influenced male crowd gathers here to socialize and groove to a trademark blend of hip-hop, cumbia, salsa and house. Each genre gets its own room in the colossal ex-warehouse space.
The Draw
On any night, the giant dance floors command dancing, whether to Spundae's celebrity DJ guests like BT, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo, or to the gay crowd's eclectic, albeit more commercial mix. While Spundae's denizens shell out a lot more money for hard beats and swank atmosphere, the vibe is much more casual and friendly on gay nights. And when it's time for a little hot dog and smoking break, the outdoor patio is prime real estate.
Best electronica club in LA. Saturday nights Circus is the place to be for plenty of dancing room and great electronica music. The staff is awesome: they greet everyone with smiles, high fives and great attitudes. The drink prices are reasonable (8-10 dollars.) There are 3 very large dancefloors and plenty of room to sit down when your feet get sore. Outside there is a Mexican food snack bar (which by the way is DELICOUS) and even more room. I think Circus is a great place to meet people with a positive vibe, and a refreshing escape from pretentious LA overcrowded night clubs. Since it is the electronica scene, there are the typical overgrown 'rave' crowd (which is not my thing but it is never unbearable) playing with light toys, so if that is a problem, be forewarned. Such a wonderful alternative to Avalon and any other club I have been to in LA.
Waste of Space. I never seen such a beautiful, elegant, hi-tech, spacy club so empty and inhabitant. All they Play is techno. The staff are friendly. I would generally think if they played a club with broader genres it would draw a better croud
best club in hollywood. friendly staff, reasonable prices, ample dancing space and patio, good vibes, friendly crowd, no long lines unless it's tiesto or some other big dutch dj, not so many plastic, leathery hollywood wannabes as avalon, etc. i love this club! i feel so comfortable and safe there.
