slow and poor communication

i wish i would have read reviews prior to paying LegalZoom a significant amount of money to set up my corporation.

To say they are slow is an understatement. (even after you pay up for their expedited services) What's worse is the time you spend following up and making sure that they are getting your documents processed. My suggestion, find a competent attorney or do it yourself.

A competent attorney will charge slightly more and save you a significant amount of time and will do it quicker. Doing it on your own will save you money.

Withholding important information during order, poor customer service

I used legalzoom to set up an LLC in Nevada. I received an email from legalzoom AFTER I placed my order that additional fees are required for Nevada. Called immediately to change my order to another state. Operator said my order wasn't in her system yet an I would have to call back the next day, and that I could even go ahead and place a new order online. Well I called back the next day and it was too late - they already sent my forms in to the state.
