What a Treat.
If you're looking for tasty upscale offerings for your pizza, head over to Tomato Pie. With creations like the Mr. White: fresh garlic, olive-oil base, ricotta, romano and mozzarella cheeses, you'll start to snarl at your local delivery place. Don't forget the most important meal of the day - their breakfast pizza is unlike anything else in the city, with egg and olive-oil base plus three toppings of your choice.

Long Live Tomato Pie..
Amazing food. I have a true East Coast snub when it comes to Pizza, I can't help it. This place is great and nothing ever disappoints. I will be honest and first ordered from them, drawn in by the great design of their logo and menu and am glad I did. The pizza, amazing (try the Grandma), the calzone, amazing, the pasta, amazing, the service, friendly, helpful and amazing. I think we ordered from them 2 times last week alone and the last time, we got a wrong dish. They fixed the mess up really quickly and were back at our door with the correct meal in no time. The mess up ended up being a happy mistake for my husband who took the extra dish we end up with for lunch, to which he just emailed me, 'this pasta is amazing' (chicken riggies). And when you order, which i recommend you do, indulge in the ganache cheese cake...again, amazing. We are over on the border of Silverlake and Echo park and I know it is a bit far for them to deliver, but they always do and thank god, now 2 of our neighbors are also hooked.

GREAT PIZZA AND GREAT SERVICE AT A GREAT PRICE.
The headline says it all. The owners and workers are friendly. The prices are great and the pizza is top notch. No need to go anywhere else. I like Hard Times as well but Tomato Pie is much much cleaner. I'm glad they decided to come to Silver Lake.

Citysearch Editorial Review.
Tucked rather obscurely behind a hair salon, this hidden gem with its own garden patio sporting ivy, vintage stoves and retro Herman Miller chairs brings real New York flavor to fans of thin-crust pizza. The usual Silver Lake suspects--scruffy, pierced and bourgeois alike--are led by New York ex-pats in search of the elusive grail of an authentic NY pizza experience. Syracuse native and chef/owner Garrett Policastro says the secret is in the dough made with specially filtered water and high protein flour. To a soundtrack of Sinatra, Feist and everything in between, Policastro dishes out traditional and gourmet pies including cheese, Sicilian, Florentine, Mr. White and meat lover. In addition to pies, the menu bursts with Italian classics like calzones, eggplant parmigiana, wild mushroom ravioli and tiramisu.
