I DON'T GET IT.. This is probably the most expensive dive I have ever been to.

I was seduced by the 50-60?s design for a little breakfast. There?s

nothing special about the food. You can find that anywhere. If you're

gonna pay $10-$15 bucks for breakfast in this area, you might as well

go to Cafe Figaro, Cliffs Edge or Dusty's. At least there you can get

gourmet coffee, fresh baguette, amazing omelet?s and people who

know something about food and atmosphere. What are these people

thinking?

Astros Charges like 4 star restaraunt. I actually have been going here for years on and off. What do they think with the prices for a lunch I think $13.00 is way overpriced the food is actually ok the service leaves much to be desired. It has a very ecletic crowds cops to drag queens those are the positives if you are into people watching at 2 in the morn this place is a hoot.

Architecture to experience over food and service. Actual 60's Architectural Flare to the diner...once a "Conrad's"...you'll like the building better than the food! Actually, the food is pretty decent but is rather over-priced for what it is. Thanks to the difficult geography, there isn't much competition for locals to walk to. The fact that it's a 24/7 establishment is also helpful. I hope this place stays around because it is convenient location. If it isn't careful with its prices and the fact that the local LAPD HQ uses it as a nearby hangout, it better improve its prices if not image. It is worth a trip but I'll be surprised if you'll want to return. Most staff seems like it would rather work somewhere else.

Good diner food. This place, and the other restaurant owned by the same people, Jan's at Beverly and La Cienega have good diner food at reasonable prices. Their burgers are amongst the best in all of greater Los Angeles

WOW! 50's Modern Diner. One of the few remaining 50's Modern diners. Spacious and comfortable seating. Relaxed atmosphere. The menu selection is great. The food is always good, with generous portions. You get a good mix of locals and some of the Hollywood crowd for a sense of the avante garde. A great place for breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Late Nite meal.
