The Scene – Club Tee Gee has been around since 1946, even though the throwback design scheme, with wood paneling, wall mirrors and sparkling stucco ceiling, feels more like a '70s film set. There aren't any windows, but there are plenty of leather booths and tables to make for a cozy scene. The long, well-lit bar provides numerous stools for lounging and black-and-white glossies of Frank Sinatra hang overhead. Unlike many dives, it's clean and friendly, with an inviting charm. WARNING: Expensive Dive Bar!

There are certainly 500,000 better bars in the world where you can drop $23 for 4 bottled beers. The bar is a dive bar; and i love dive bars; but this is not a place where they should be asking for these prices.
2 New Castle bottles ($5 each), 1 Stella bottle ($5) and 1 Guinness ($7!!!!) poured form a can should not be this expensive. with tip; TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS! come on man.
the bartenders were nice enough but as a self proclaimed silver lake hipster i will be enjoying my expensive drinking habits elsewhere.

- Cons: Outragous Prices for beer!, Cash only, no backup music if you don't pay to play the jukebox

This place is GREAT!

The bartender is awesome. The atmosphere is mostly locals and a few young hipsters. Great place to hang out and have a drink or two!

There's a free lot behind the bar, or try your luck on the street.
Know Before You Go:
No credit cards here, but there's an ATM just north of the bar, on the corner of Glendale and Larga. Although the bar doesn't accept credit cards, the juke box does, so if you want to hear some jams, don't forget your plastic.
What to Drink:
The night bartender is proud of his specialty drinks, like the Blood Orange Martini. Inquire about new recipes.
