best business place, decent prices, full bichon, love animals, good service, good bath portion, great dog wash
Darla's is a great place!. I was impressed with Darla's when I took my baby maltese there for a wash and brush. He is just a puppy and his hair was tangled beyond belief! So I figured they'd wash and brush out all the knots. When the owner looked at the tangles, she said it would be better if I came to the back and stood by his side while he was being brushed. So I went back there, and as the groomer began to brush him, I saw how bad the tangles really were. The groomer told me that to brush them all out would be very painful for my puppy, and suggested that it would be better to give him a haircut. I don't want my baby to be in pain (of course) so I agreed. I thought I liked his hair long, but I actually really loved how he looked after his cute cut. It was adorable! I'm glad that the owner invited me to the back and took me through it all, I think it says a lot about the integrity of the business in general. I'll definitely be back!
Darlas Dog Wash is a terrible place. My Dog passed away due to a neglectful employee... After drying my dog, he was placed in a cage where his temperature went to 107 degrees and the dog was deprived of oxygen. Don't take your pet to Darlas! STAY OUT!
darla's dog wash does not do a good service. darla's dog wash took in our two dogs to wash and trim their fur. apparently their deffinition of 'trim' is very different than ours. we wanted a small trim, just to thin down their fur. the boy dog was fine, but the girl's fur was shaved off completely. all of her curly hair was gone. if you're planning to take your dog in, be sure to take your dictionary too.
A friendly place that does a great job. I've been to many dog salons with my terrier mix Estrella. She is a rare mix, and her hair seems to grow in all directions, making it hard to give her a haircut that would actually complement her features. We came to Darla's, we just walked in, didn't even have an appointment and they were able to take her right away. In 3 hours she was returned to me as a pretty clean dog, with an adorable haircut! She looked like she could be a toy. We were very pleased with the service and the pricing didn't sting. We'll be back there again and again!
a first-time satisfied customer. i called around first to see where to take my newly adopted dog. darla's seemed to have reasonable prices, were very informative over the phone, and i was able to make an appointment for the same day. we arrived and were taken in right away, the owner was so glad that i had saved a dog from the pound and talked to me a little about the new shelter laws, etc. she seemed a very compassionate woman who loves animals. she told me how when she moved to the US from Russia, she had brought her dog with her! My dog was ready in 2 hours and came out sparkling clean and happy. They had also brushed out a load of shedding hair! The bow on the collar was a nice touch. I will definitely go back to support these good people and good business.
The best place ever. this place is the best. the best prices the best grooming i have ever gotten of any other place. the workers were so polite but the girl groomer who took in my dog MARLEY did a great job.
Regular customer. I have been going to Darla's for over 5 years now and they always do a great job and are friendly!
reasonably priced and nice job. darla's is a no nonsense groomer...good prices and good service! .
Darla's Dog Grooming. I was surprised to see so many people talking about the nails being cut so short they were bleeding. It happened to me too, so I won't take her back there. The people seemed nice, but they should know not to cut them so short. I took her to K-9 loft in Silverlake. It was more expensive, but I would rather cut out Starbucks for me and give her the best treatment. It was the happiest she ever looked coming or going from a groomer.
They hurt my dog. I took one dog of mine there a few years ago. I went back to take our new dog. When I got home and inspected him, he had a cut on the lower lid of his left eye and his eye was bloodshot. I called to ask what happened and their answer was that my dog has a genetic disease. It's now been 3 months and he has no genetic disease. His eye is all healed up and perfectly fine. I realize accidents happen but DON'T LIE about them!
