Great Manicure. I usually go to a five star nail spa to get my nails done but I was at work and I just took my nails off and needed a manicure BAD, so since it was next to my job I decided to go get a manicure. It was definitely better then I expected. Very good service, and it was tremendously quick, as it was my lunch break so she did a great job and she took her time to make sure everything was to my liking. I will definitely go back.

Friendly Service. I normally do not write any good reviews, but I feel the prior post does not accurately reflect the establishment (or at least how I was treated during my ten years patronage there). I am a local, and a long time customer. The manager on duty, Kim/Melody, is most the most wonderful and caring person I know. Each of her staff has been working there for at least ten years. I love the fact that I always see the same person over and over. Their service is phenomenal, and they know exactly what you want. They also know how to carry a conversation during your treatment. Most of their clienteles come by appointments. A lot of celebrities go there. I was once trapped inside with Britney Spears as they locked their doors from the paparazzis. While I get my nails done there, I do notice that they ask you if you want more service. I think this is a standard routine. Even when I go to expensive restaurants they ask me if I want the soup of the day or any desserts. Even at a fast food diner they ask you if you want to get fries with your order. I understand how hard it is to turn someone down, but this is Los Angeles, we all do it everyday. Also, because I work in a healthcare setting, I always pay close attention to sanitary conditions. I always see a dark blue sterilizer jar next to each work station where they clean their equipment. One last thing: do not meter park on the street, there is plenty of free parking in the back.

Save your money, and do your own nails (or go elsewhere!). I normally don't write negative reviews, but this was the Worst manicure I've gotten. Ever. Not only did the manicurist snip at my cuticles like she was trimming hedges, leaving them ragged and one even bleeding, but then when she did polish my nails, she couldn't keep the polish on the nail and got it on several cuticles. If I wanted this kind of service, I would have saved the money and done it myself. Moreover, everyone in the store kept pushing me to get more services, from french tips to a pedicure to my eyebrows to a facial. Apparently no one has told them that no means no. I'd deal with the pushiness if they did a good job, but sadly that wasn't the case. Finally, I didn't see any sterilizers for the tools, and I was left to dry my nails on a clip on fan on the next table. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
