The exhibit's a way of sharing the holy land experience with those who can't afford the real thing, mixing traditional displays with homespun walk-through re-creations of ancient domiciles and bazaars. Even those not particularly pious will appreciate the elaborate Middle Eastern costumes and "genuine Holyland snacks" served during the Q&A. Though it won't exactly draw international scholars it's worth a trip across town to see this collection of clay lamps, crusty coins and urns.

A mildly interesting collection of Biblical-inspired objects. The lady who runs this place claims founder Antonio Futterer was the inspiration for Raider of the Lost Ark and the character Indiana Jones. Don't know if I believe that, but I love anyone with a crackpot story.

The Extras:
Visitors needn't fear proselytizing. Whatever inspirational intent lies behind all this remains murky, only surfacing occasionally in quaintly misguided displays such as the tree burned into the shape of the cross at Hiroshima.
