Best mexican food ever!

I love Ernie Jr's Taco House! I have been going there since my mom was pregnant with me (I am 20 now) and she has been going there for the same amount of time. My grandfather started going when he was in high school which was over 50 years ago! They have the best enchiladas, chips, guacamole, rice.. everything! It is great for children and large groups and it is affordable too. They are always very nice and polite. I would recommend going there to anyone! I now live 2 hours away and still drive there for dinner on occasion and when I am in LA I have to stop in!

It's sad to see this place go down hill. The food is getting worse, Chicken is like frozen then recooked. beans are good. Service is very bad. Decor is old & needs to be freshened up.

Nice people, bad food

It's Unfortunate that this place has really bad food. Boring menu.

waitstaff is nice, But my husband didn't touch his microwave chicken enchilada and the waiter didn't ask him if the meal was ok. Didn't bother complaining because it seems like the place that doesn't care if you like the food or not. Spanish rice was tastless, beans tasted like lard, oily chesse, tastless enchilada sauce, the chicken in our enchiladas was really really bad. maybe too old to serve.

The table salsa was not bad... that's pretty much the only thing.

I do not recommend this place.
