great seasoned french fries. This place is a nonfranchised fast food joint just across the street from Casa Bianca in Eagle Rock. It's very greasy, but what fast food isn't? Portions are large, especially the fries which are my favorite. I used to come here a lot, but now I steer away from fast food.

Great Mexican food and fantastic Burgers. My boyfriend has been searching for a carne asada burrito that is comparable to Pepe's in San Gabriel. Simple and full of meat, Pete's carne asada burrito is delicious. My personal favorite is their garden burger. The patty is full of flavor and the bun is lightly toasted. We walk out of there with full satisfied belly's under 12 bucks!

Great cheap eats. Pete's is one of those classic neighborhood burger joints that exist around Los Angeles. At this Eagle Rock staple, you'll be able to eat breakfast with a huge breakfast steak burrito, have lunch with a signature burger, and enjoy dinner with a delicious pastrami or fish sandwich. Their french fries are of the chunky variety but are always straight-out-of-the-fryer steaming hot with a touch of seasoned salt. Their onion rings are just great...crispy batter and sweet onions on the inside. I have to say my personal favorite is the patty melt with extra cheese. It never fails to satisfy. It's inexpensive, wonderfully prepared, local fast food. Enjoy it like the rest of us.

User review by offmelrose. My wife and I stumbled upon this place about a year ago and we became instantly hooked. They feature a wide variety of foods from breakfast to authentic Mexican fare and delectable fried veggies that really satisfy but the real star is the namesake the hamburgers are big, juicy and old fashioned. Im telling you if you want a hamburger the way they used to be made (or how they still should be), you gotta give this place a try. The only downside is that its not close to our home. But if it were, wed be there all the time!

Great little greasy spoon. Simple, fufilling favorites from burritos to tuna melts. Giant omlettes, thick meaty bacon, fresh avocados = comfort food you can sink your teeth into. Bring $5 and a big appetite.
