Good value but STRANGE TO SAY THE LEAST.. I was hooking up with a person for sex. I tried to call to confirm rates and if there was any availability. NO ANSWER. Took a chance and drove there anyway. Time was 11:30 pm. Older asian man came to small window he was very un welcoming. My drivers license was looked at for about 4 minutes. This place takes cash and credit debit cards. If you pay w cc it's more. BIG SIGN. NO PROSTITUTES, DRUGS, VISITORS. The rate w cc is about 52.00 After paying w cc I wanted remote for tv which I was charged refundable deposit of 5.00

Room was clean and big. AC/heat worked great, lots of hot water, cheap skimpy towels but that's what comes with this kind of place. Quite and comfortable mattress.

I was only there 2 hours and the old man was very surprised that I was checking out after 2 hours. Hello? Don't think he knows he can make more money flipping those rooms w folks need a room for a quickie.

For folks into SM action room 16 has a heavy gage chain bolted to the wall.......did not understand why it was there as no tv or furniture was chained down. Great opportunity for bondage exploration. Closet in this room was large enough to sleep 2 extra people. Oh, forgot to mention free straight porn on tv and free WIFI. Bed frame suitable for spread eagle bondage too. Hope this review does not offend any readers. Hey this is LA..........Motel located in Eagle Rock about 9 miles from center of LA. Good value but owners not nice. Like they have no clue to who they are catering to.

Hotels and Motels like this need to be SHUT down.. The York Hotel is just wrong. Worse hotel/motel experience I have had in my life. Although the signs say "no prostitution" there is nasty illegal things going on here. Seems that an Asian family owns and operates this place but they are well hidden and you can't get to them because even the manager and her husband who bully's clients and customers, speak limited English and uses the EXCUSE, that they don't understand much English. Nasty offerings altogether but yet, rude and unprofessional. Building is unsafe and falling apart, needs updated, bathrooms are unclean and probably spreading something contagious. I was running low on cash and needed a place to stay while looking for a home and I simply wanted my money back after the first couple of hours there. Nasty, dirty, and seems they make their grandmother clean, at any rate, the cleaners and room attendants are not capable to clean the rooms and prepare this dump for people to stay and feel safe and clean. Totally AWEFULLY
