enjoy chain, great location close, terribly slow service, delicious dinner
Known for its breakfasts, this diner chain slings all-American grub and bottomless cups of coffee..
In Short
With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.
Terribly slow service.
Although the location close to the airport is great, the service is terribly slow. It took the waitress 15 minutes to ask us for our orders, another 10 minutes to bring us the drinks, and another 10 for silverware. She also kept forgetting what we ordered (despite writing it down), so we had to get her attention repeatedly and remind her of the missing parts of the meal.
I really like the Denny's chain - our dinner was delicious as ever - I just hope that this restaurant is no one's first visit - since a similar visit would leave a terrible impression. Avoid this location (maybe just on Saturday nights) - and enjoy the chain.
