Mad at the world women
by cherlyhanna
I went to this place on Saturday 2/16/08. When my boyfriend said we were going to M and M's I was excited but I am used to going to the other M and M's on MLK Blvd. Our waitress had major attitude from the moment we walked in. We ordered and I had the worst chicken sausage patty ever it was dry and tasteless and and really inedible. My grits were okay a little too lumpy for my taste. The biscuits were pretty good however I usually eat mine with syrup however I was afraid to request any because when I asked for a spoon the waitress got more attitude took her time bringing the spoon then looked at me as if she couldn't understand why I bothered her for a spoon. I don't know about anyone else but I am not accustomed to eating grits with a fork.
As we sat there and ate our food we watched this waitress give rude service to the two people in the place. The other staff was loud and unprofessional the whole time we were there. All they did was complain about men I wanted to eat not listen to another male bashing session with women who have bad attitudes. All the women seemed to be mad at the world I heard one male voice in the back and I feel sorry for him cause I know he has too deal with a lot. I will never go to this place again there are way too many place to eat in L.A. to have to put up with bad attitudes and substandard food.
- Pros: Food was served fast
- Cons: Parking gets bad, rude waitress, food not too good

Sure this place needs a face lift, but you'll need lipo after eating here. Great soul food with HUGE portions. I usually dine here for lunch. My favorite: Fried Chicken Lunch w/ Mac & Cheese, String Beans and a glass of lemonade. Other great side dishes are their Dressing and Yams. YuM&My!
Waste of Time

The food is just OK. However, the location is awful, the restaurant itself is in need of major repair, and the staff needs an attitude adjustment.
For $21.00 I got to sit in a craked leather booth, at a semi-clean table and eat greasy food served to me by a rude woman.
Tip of the Day...go somewhere else.
