Tips for Italy's Little Kitchen

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It took over two hours and three phone calls to the restaurant before our food was FINALLY delivered. When it did finally arrive (no "I'm sorry" just "it wasn't my fault") the pizza was stone COLD and had a long black hair on it! They also forgot to even include my salad and my husbands pasta was also cold. This is the worst dinning experience I think I have ever had. Horrible customer service ... if you are thinking of ordering Italian delivery, avoid this place at all costs.

Bland food, lackluster service, aloof hostess, Try somewhere else,. I recommend you stay at home and microwave a Stouffers dinner. You will enjoy it more. I always though that this looked like a cute place and assumed the food would be good as it always seemed busy. I was wrong. First the "hostess" was chatting with a friend (or maybe she worked there too?) all evening not checking on service. The complimentary bread is good, but was served with a stale tasting olive oil/balsalmic mix. My Chicken Marsala was not served with mushrooms. It seems the kitchen ran out. I was informed of this as the mushroomless plate was set before me. It was missing more than just mushrooms. I took it home to doctor it and add some much needed flavor. The Spinachi al Fungi was also lacking something. What was it, Oh yes THE FUNGI!!!!! If you have no mushrooms, tell the customers and walk the 300 yards to the Bristol Farms next door. The third item, a Calzone was filled with 95% peppers. It should have had artichoke hearts, eggplant, cheese and probably the elusive mushroom. It was taken back by the congenial waitress and replaced with a pizza of our choosing. Conspicuously this was topped with an abundance of peppers. (I took this to go) Perhaps recycling food, which is what I'll be doing in my kitchen turning bland leftovers into flavorful food. Seriously, Stay away. With Louises, Maria's and Rosti around there is no reason to go to Itlay's Little Kitchen.

Great Italian Food. Great food overall. Love the Shrimp Diavolo with its spicy delicious sauce & perfectly cooked pasta. The Lasagna is good and very tasty if only they didn't overdo on the amount of Italian sausage. The Spinach Ravioli was pretty flavorful too, done just right. Ooohh the Veggie Pizza, very nicely done too. Yeap, dined there a few times, so tried many items in their menu. The food is pretty great and it is a few blocks away from my home. Can't complain if I don't have to drive in traffic to get some decent Italian food after a long workday right? I do have to note that sometimes I get only ok service, and I could see how some people might complain about it. I don't expect to be pampered just because I am paying for food so nothing to complain there. As long as my food gets there in a timely manner as I ordered it, tastes good, and belly is happy, well I am happy too!

Dissapointing customer service. Do you remember when spending over $40 on dinner made you a good customer, one to be taken care of? Well, I have enjoyed Italy's Little Kitchen in the past but, it's all over now. This review is only going to focus on my experience with my most recent delivery, or lack thereof. I never saw my latest order and the staff could have cared less.

I was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes for the food to arrive but after an hour and a half I decided enough waiting had taken place. The first person I spoke with just didn't care that a customer had been kept waiting and had no suggestion to make so I spoke to a manager, Julie, who told me the delivery had gone out "40 minutes ago". So about the time I should have been diving into my Spicy Calamari, the driver was just getting ready to go out and deliver five orders, mine included. She had no idea where it was or why it had gone out so late but mainly she just wasn't concerned about losing a good return customer. She only offered to credit my card, not even an apology.

In my business, poor service that costs me a customer puts me one step closer to starving.. which I am.. because I didn't get my food...

Flavorful Pasta!. My friend and I went on a Friday night. While crowded, there was enough seating and we were seated promptly.

My favorite is the California Pasta, penne with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and goat cheese. Very colorful and lots of complex textures. The Spinaci E Funghi is also delicious, penne with spinach, mushrooms, olives, and goat cheese.

cheap happy hour price.... my bf & i happened to drop by this little cozy italien restaurant one day after work, and found a great deal for those early bird dinner-takers. they offer their dinner menu (not the whole menu though) at a cheaper rate during their specific happy hour time frame. this works out perfectly for us since we get off work earlier than normal everyday. i thought the cheaper price would reflect on the qulaity of food, but i was wrong. the food was huge in portion, and most importantly, great taste!!!

The worst service I've experienced. My husband and I used to go to Little Italy's Kitchen a minimum of 2 times a month because of the food, until our last experience. We were seated in the patio and the waitress did not come to take our order, even for drinks, for over 20 minutes. She then failed to give us bread and hardly checked up on us to ask if we wanted refills. We waited over 45 minutes for our food when everyone around us who had a different waitress was served their food when they ordered after us. We had to walk out and tell management who wasn't responsive to complaint. They also git rid of their deep dish pizza which was the best thing on the menu.

Terrific Hold in wall restaurant!!!. My roommate and I were just driving by and decided to give it a try.... to our surprise, the meal was excellent.... portions are LARGE and I would recommend it for any occasion because it's so cheap... The chef really puts his heart into the cooking cuz the taste of the food is uncomparable...
