my favorite Mexican restaurant!.
If my hubby wants to take me out this is my number one place, I love their handmade flour tortillas, and the food it’s delicious and fresh! And the margaritas I just simply love them! I am their number one fan!

Horrible Hygiene.
We came to this restaurant because it was recommended as being good and decent for the price. The place ended up being nicer than expected with a name like "Pacos Tacos." The waiter was nice and real fast getting the orders in as well as our drinks. Everyone else ordered tacos and I ordered enchiladas, which was a huge mistake. No one else got sick, but I sure did. Just about an hour after we ate I felt sick and a few moments after that it all came back out and ruind my vacation for a couple days. Not only did everything come back up, but I also got the stomach flu. I'm big on hygiene and my dish proved there are people there who don't care about personal cleansing. I'll never go back there again.

Best Mexican Restaurant.
Everything that I have ever ordered from this place is excellent and it's authenticate, just check out the handmade corn tortillas being baked by the little Mexican woman as you walk to your seat. The atmosphere is awesome, a little dark with Mexican design.
For first timers, I highly recommend the carne asada taco combo. You've never had carne asada this way before. The pieces are nice and chunky, slightly chard, and wrapped in the homemade tortillas. Excellent chips and salsa (some places have good food and crappy salsa, others vice-versa, but not here, they have both). For an appetizer, I recommend the fundido, melted cheese with a little bit of chorizo in the middle and homemade corn tortillas. Excellent rice and beans as well.
The service is good, it's pricier than a typical Mexican restaurant, but its way worth it.
I'm Mexican-American, born in East L.A., raised by immigrants of Mexico, so I don't have the whitewashed taste for Mexican food and know the difference between taco bell and what I'll be having at the family parties.

discriminatory customer service.
i dont understand this place. this food is decent. high prices. it is a shame that as a hispanic customer, you get mistreated by the hispanic staff. the restaurant prefers and treats the white clientle better. also i see thst my previous scathing review was removed. i wonder why!!

Family friendly.
This is the larger, family version of Pacos. They have children's menus, lots of large tables, and even a waiter that does magic tricks.
The drinks at this place seem to be quite week. The food is good, if inconsistent. Suggest choosing a wet burrito for a warm, gravy like meal that won't disappoint.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles.
I just got back from dinner at Pacos a few hours ago, so I'm primed to write an honest and current review. As always it was a great experience and I am unbelieveably full. The service is fairly attentive, despite it being very busy (it is always packed). Chips and salsa are THE BEST, bar none, I have ever had. I eat so many I am hardly hungry when my entree arrives. I always get the De Yucatan, Cochinita Pibil (Pork marinated in a special BBQ sauce) and I love it. Portions are good, prices are fair (OK maybe a bit high) but it's worth it. In my opinion Pacos does everything well, and I always leave happy, what more can I ask for? Granted I am not a mexican food guru, but I am pretty picky about food in general and Pacos never disappoints.

Good tacos, relaxed atmosphere.
Paco's Tacos serves good tacos, and the speedy service and laid-back atmosphere make this the perfect place for a quick lunch or an early dinner. Their tortillas are homemade, their salsas are fresh, and the overall experience is quite nice.

Never again!.
My husband and I use to go to Paco's at least every 2 weeks but we are finished with this place. Prices keep rising, service is inconsistent and they have now cut down on their portions! I understand inflation but give me a break! If you are going to keep raising prices, you need to compensate somewhere. The last 2 times we were there, we were given food without silverware and could not get the attention of our waiter. Also, he brought out our tortillas after we were finished with our food. If I am going to pay $14 bucks for an entree, I expect decent service. Listen to my advise "EAT AT GILBERTS!!!!"

Heart burn for days!!.
I took my husband here for his birthday dinner because I heard they sing happy birthday and put a charro hat on the birthday person while a flan with candle is brought to them by surprise. I informed the host and she stated she would let our waiter know... By the end of the meal not only did they rush us out, but the waiter never brings a flan and no singing.. The food was terrible yuck!! The drinks where horrible...I went and asked the host what happened and her excuse was "she got busy" a sorry excuse for a Monday night with very few costumers. Never again, will recomend or go to such a shady restaurant. Until today I still have heartburn from the food or maybe from such a terrible experience and let down from an evening that was suppose to be special and fun. They ruined the surprise. The service sucked! The staff was not sympathetic to their mistake.
