What People Are Saying About Don Cuco Mexican Restaurant

In Short – Kitschy decor and peach-hued stucco walls create atmosphere inside and strong margaritas and reasonably priced, homey Mexican fare keep the room filled. Traditional offerings like beef tacos and enchiladas lead the menu, though there's flair in spicy shrimp burritos. Open-face quesadillas pile shredded chicken, chorizo, green chilies, black olives and Jack cheese on a flour tortilla. The salad supreme--iceberg lettuce with avocado, cheese, olives, tomatoes, chicken breast and shrimp--is one of the healthier choices.

Watch Out For Those Margaritas!
by svantico at Citysearch
The Canyon Country Don Cuco is my favorite restaurant. Sadly it burned last Fall so we ventured out to Acton to try this location.
The atmosphere is nice and fun and the food and service are good. Watch out for those margaritas; I should have stopped after the first (thinking they were like the ones in Canyon Country). After the second one I was glad I wasn't driving. They are WAY more potent than the Glendale location's as well.
- Pros: Good Food, Good Drinks, Good Atmosphere
- Cons: The Drive
