Curious stop.
My brother and I stopped here during a high desert photoshoot last summer. We were intrigued by the combination of fast food restaurant, grocery store, and gift shop. Things like buffalo jerky and deep-fried twinkies can be found here. Yes, we tried the deep-fried twinkie. It came in a cardboard boat, the kind hotdogs come in. On top of the battered twinkie was a generous heap of whipped cream, along with strawberry syrup and, as if this weren't enough, powdered sugar. We took one bite each and threw it away, dizzy from the sheer amount of sugar in half a mouthful. It was an exprience. If you're not from these parts, you'll get an amazing ego boost as everyone around you is amazingly less healthy than you probably are.

Not much else out here....
Great place to stop for fudge, nuts, milkshakes, etc (I do wish they would get better coffee). The store is also a great place to shop for various odds and ends.

This is da place to stop at!.
I've been here at least one hundred times or more. So much to choose from. You can get great fruit, nuts, milkshakes, sandwiches, etc. They also have a fine wine tasting room. If you're ever on the Pearblossom road east of Palmdale be sure to stop here!

You've Gotta Stop Here!.
Charlie Brown's is on hwy 138, so it gets a lot of exposure. It's a great place to stretch your legs. Local produce and honey are the stars, but you can stroll the kitschy-touristy section and find all sorts of stuff to amuse yourself and the kids. Homemade candy is also another treat here.
They have garden stuff, gnomes, coffee mugs, flags, decorations, and a ton more. And they always advertise in-season crops and date milkshakes.
It's a novelty you've gotta check out!
