Best Sushi in California! I am Not Kidding. Diehard sushi consumers need to check this place out! I take friends from LA and even Japan there and they rave about the place. Whether your tastes run to sashimi, sushi or the various cooked menu items you can find a favorite here. Golden Shrimp is my favorite. My wife loves the "Three Combo" with the sashimi selection. The salads are excellent as is the soup. Neighborhood is a little rough but has greatly improved over the years. The restaurant is about a half block from one of the only (if not the only) children's libraries in the State. If you have kids try and time it for the daytime so you can stop there. Palmdale also has a small waterpark (Summer only), two skateparks and free concerts at its amphitheater so check out the website. The Palmdale Playhouse is also only about 2 blocks away so if you are coming out from LA or the San Fernando Valley make a day of it.
