Elliot Salter: BEST PAWN SHOP IN L.A. COUNTY!. Seriously, there is no need to go ANYWHERE for loans, great deals on used items, or just curiousity seeking. Elliot has been in business since 1964 and you could not ask for a sweeter guy to do business with. He's knowledgeable, sincere, and will give you a good fair deal.

If you are looking for high end watches, musical instruments, or even strange, but curious items, stop by Elliot Salter's pawn shop on Santa Monica Blvd. He's AWESOME!!! Tell them Rick Klu sent ya!!!

EMPLOYEES NOT AFRAID TO SHOOT/TAZER YOU!!. I was in this store about two weeks ago. There was a customer just looking around the store & minding his own business. For some reason Elltiott Salter the owner asked the customer to leave & the customer wasn't doing anything wrong. Elliott went to a part of the store grabbed a tazer and started to show what he would do to him if he didnt leave the store, the customer & the rest of us though he was joking, but Elliott was serious. Again the customer was just looking around the store, not bothering anybody. Elliott started to tease the customer with the tazer by comming very close to zapping him in the chest area. We all though Elliott was going crazy & just lost control of his mental state. He kept pushing the customer out of the store. Elliott did taze him in the left kidney for about three to four seconds & the guy screamed & dropped to his knees. I could not believe what I was seeing, the guy got up and left the store. I asked Elliott why he would he would do that to a customer & he said, if they don't leave I will either taze them or use my BB gun, I dont screw around he said.Im sure that guy contacted the west hollywood sheriffs dept. about this & I hope he sues the hell out of Elliot Salter for such uncalled for brutality on a customer that was doing nothing wrong. To taze a customer for doing nothing. Elliott Salter belongs behind bars for a time for what he did to this guy, what an idiot.

Elliott Salter rocks!!!. Im a local photographer who has been going to Elliott for over 15yrs. He has unique collectables and always has a good selection of still cameras and lenes, also some good super 8 cameras and projectors as well. Its def an experience just walking into his shop. Check it out.

Elliot salter the best. My name is jamie and for years I was customer of Elliot Salter. Mr Salter and his staff are kind and consider

their customer with the best of service and great deals.

When I was down and out I depended on his loans and got over the hump. He is and has the best pawn shop in the nation.

Customer Service is Elite. I was making a phone call to Elliott and asking for the possibility of trading a musical instrument for my father who suffers from stroke. The one he has is too heavy for him now and so I am looking for the one that he can carry. Instead of pushing me to do business with him, he suggests that to put the accordion on the hospital table and try that first, if that doesn't work out and then go to his store for trading. I really appreciate his work ethics and integrity of doing business. We should have more people like Elliott in this world. Elliott, you are great :)

The Best Customer Service West of the MIssissippi. I have been doing business here for almost 20 years and I can say that in that time I have never had an unpleasant experience at Elliot's. The staff is fun and very knowledgeable about the business. Heck its just fun to go inside and see all the weird things hanging all over.

Great Pawn Shop. Elliot Salter pawn shop has great prices on a varity of items available at their pawn shop. The workers are friendly and they are not pushy. They welcome you tor browse around or if you know what you want then they'll get you in and out of there, no pressure. This has been one of my favorite pawn shops to go to. I just wish I lived closer to it.
