Get there early. I love the food here. It's by far my absolute FAVORITE place to eat in Los Angeles.

Impressed. I work late from home and often order late night take out. Tonight, I ordered from Bossa Nova on Sunset for the first time. It will not be the last. The food was as expected - enjoyable, but not over the top fantastic. What prompted me to write this review, however, was genuinely courteous and respectful customer service that I have not seen from any other restaurant in the area. I live in a small, 8-unit apartment building that was converted from a very old house, so it is all indoors and the walls are paper thin. Tonight at almost 1:00 a.m., I decided I was hungry and placed my order, which arrived at 1:40 a.m. Delivery people from every other restaruant from which I have ordered in the 6 months that I have lived here have all made so much noise that I am often left wondering whether I will receive a three-day eviction notice the next morning. There was even one guy who feel the need to have a loud telephone conversation in our hallway after midnight once and who let the cat out withought feeling the need to let me know. The Bossa Nova guy was nothing like the others. He called me from outside (no banging) and when I came to the door he acually spoke in a whisper! I was so surprised and I loved it!! I will order from this resaurant again and often.

Love this place but....... Been going here for years. Really love it. From the great food to the very friendly/great service. But, I recently stopped in at the West Side location on Pico and was very disappointed. It's a totally different vibe at this location. I tried it twice because I was shocked and figured they were having an off night but it was the same. The service was very unfriendly and even less helpful. The whole energy of the place was uncomfortable both times. It almost made me feel like I should be apologizing for even being there. So if you've never been, stick to the Bossa in Hollywood or WeHo. Both are great. STAY AWAY FROM WEST SIDE!!!! You might not ever come back.

One of the best values in LA.. This is one of my favorite’s. Been going to Bossa Nova for some years now.

From West Hollywood when it opened, you could even talk to the owner, then when it got to busy left for the Sunset one. Never ever had a problem. The tasty food, the price, the quality, the quantity, all good. Steak with mushrooms and a big helping of steamed vegetables with mash potatoes, my favorite. The drink Arnold Parmer, it always seems full again before its finished. The wine is fairly priced to.

They even spend a little doing improvements gradually. They now have new real comfortable chairs and better tables. All the staff are attentive, we especially like Tracey who has looked after us a couple of times, such a nice friendly attentive waitress. At busy times you just have to wait, we avoid them and go early.

The only problem I wish they could fix. Every time some one comes out the rest room there is a strong nasty smell of disinfectant, which dose not, believe me, complement the meal. So don’t sit down wind from the Loo

simply great. I go to luch at this place once or twice a week, the food is awesome, the service is lighting fast. What else is there to say for a busy guy who wants something good yet not slow like a traditional reestaurant it is perfect. Plus they are open real late til 2 or 3 am
