A social atmosphere permeates this hangout near Warner Brothers' Hollywood lot. The dining room is low-lit, with raised, intimate red-vinyl booths running around the perimeter. An elevated bar area dominated by a long banquette draws happy-hour and late-night revelers. A second bar and seating area is lit by large plate-glass windows and fills up with lunching patrons who aren't discussing screenplays or gossiping about low-level studio shenanigans.

Love this place great food, good vibe, always fun. Also the kitchen stays open late! I love the ravioli, calamari, and pizza. also the apple pie and brownie.

Come to Jones for a few reasons: the quiet intimate dining, the lower lighting reminiscent of old Italian movies, and the food. The eclectic menu is fantastic and should be scoured carefully. The only thing missing from the menu is a taster's choice to give you a sample of everything.

This is a great little place for late nights. Get a reservation if you are going to grab a bite especially Friday and Saturday evenings. At first you wonder where the door is since there looks to be an entrance on corner of Formosa and Santa Monica, but nope not it !! Go around to Santa Monica and to your right little door and in you go. Nice ambiance, dark, great little place for drinks and food. Unpretentious but definitely makes the BlackBook guide to Los Angeles. Great little mini martinis you get to shake and stir for yourself. Really fills up after hours.

Where to Sit:
The comfy booths in the front are perfect for getting extra cozy--just beware of the large mirror that reflects to the bar area.
On the Menu:
There's a full menu of burgers, pasta and salads, but after nightfall, most patrons are here for drinks.
