In Short – A social atmosphere permeates this hangout near Warner Brothers' Hollywood lot. The dining room is low-lit, with raised, intimate red-vinyl booths running around the perimeter. An elevated bar area dominated by a long banquette draws happy-hour and late-night revelers. A second bar and seating area is lit by large plate-glass windows and fills up with lunching patrons who aren't discussing screenplays or gossiping about low-level studio shenanigans.

The best apple pie in town

If you haven't had the apple pie at Jones then you are missing out on one of the best desserts in town. Go and start with the tasty steamed artichoke to feel healthy and then finish it off with a drink and the apple pie.
The only drawback is the limited standing room in the bar area can cause for a crowded drinks outing. Opt for a table and avoid the scene.

If You're In The 'Hood

I came here for a friend's birthday celebration and just had a glass of wine. However, I had such a wonderful experience that I'm already begging my boyfriend to come back. The decor is definitely Hollywood cool with red and black coloring and oversized leather couches and seats. I highly suggest coming here for at least a drink and if you want dinner, take a look at Michael's review below!
- Pros: Large bar with ample seating
- Cons: Parking as usual - though they have valet!

Whiskey and Apple Pie

Been one of my favorite bars in Los Angeles for the last 7 years. The food is great and the drinks are terrific and you can come for either reason or both. My favorites -- the chicken salad with fried goat cheese, the chicken with sauteed spinach and linguine carbonara. To drink -- it's always a John Bonham: shot of Jack and a Bud. The music is always good and the crowd is great. Watch out for Kiefer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon from time to time. But the secret of the whole experience is getting the Applie Pie. It's baked in a cast-iron skillet and topped with vanilla ice cream.
