The best apple pie! Served sizzling hot with goes caramel on the bottom and ice cream on top. The pie is buttery and wonderfully flaky.

Great Date. Great date place. I chose it for Valentines Day, knowing the food is great but not heavy and the drinks are fun but not inebriating. The seating reminds me of intimate New York eateries, where you are so close to the couples on either side of you that it actually makes your conversation more intimate because you have to lean in to talk. The service was very respectable considering it was a major eat-out holiday.

Not so great.. Horrible layout. The bar area can barely hold even the smallest crowds and its funky concave shape renders half of it useless. The food is actually pretty good but make reservations ahead of time. The waitresses are cute and friendly, but the guys behind the bar are slow and make weak drinks.

The bathroom is splattered with pictures of wild nights from about 5-10 years ago where girls are naked and everyone seems to be pretty crazy, but this place isnt like that at all anymore.

There is a smoking room indoors with plenty of seating, and a seperate dining area in the front of the building. The place would be better off converting that to the bar area since it sits empty towards the end of the night.

JUST OK.... The place is poorly lit and cannot handle but the smallest of crowds ( we called a week ahead to warn them we would be bringing about 50 + people ... however they seemed to not care for they very understaffed ) -- very tough to navigate to the bar area for drinks... so bad in fact their wait staff spilled several drinks during the course of a night ( the waitress did however remain pleasant ).... The music was great up until 10:30pm when suddenly someone decided that they should turn it up to the point we had to perform sign language with the bartender to order drinks. The food was good --- however-- most of my party was turned away for they did not make "reservations" ... eventhough most of their tables sat empty all noght long..... very poor business decision on their part.

Jones Sucks. This place used to be good 10 years ago - I just waited and hour for a table that was promised to be ready "any minute" - meanwhile I glanced at the host's paper and they seated 3 people after me! They are ridiculous - I don't patronize businesses for behaving badly and Jones certainly tops it. I walked out and the manager was like "what's their problem?" Hello - maybe if you tell someone when u call ahead to come right in - there's no wait and show up 10 minutes later, and then wait for 1 hour - there's a problem with the management. Losers.

The Worst of the Worst in LA. This ridiculously expensive hangout for the worst kind of poseurs and hollywood wannabes has food that makes you wanna curl up and die, drinks so small and full of ice that you'd have to drink 20 just to forget about the aweful fact of being there, and booths so hard that they provide no solace from everything else thats terrible about this place. The staff is unbelievably rude and arrogant and won't cater to you unless you're one of the lame B-rate celebs who walk in and get immediate attention over everyone else. Avoid at all Costs!!!

I want to like it, I really do!. I go to Jones at least once every couple weeks. I like the atmosphere (music could be a little softer) and the set up. The wait staff and door people I have always found friendly, but the bartenders always seem to be as if they just got rejected for at an acting audition. One gentleman behind the bar in particular seems to not pay you much courtesy unless you are a hollywood glamour type female. For average Joes like me, this stinks, when even as you are tipping him he is bit of a jerk.

I want this place to be one of my normal haunts, but the bartenders are just to snotty.

Unprofessional. Owner and one waiter very unpolite and unprofessional. What happened to me? How many of you know which name is the first (in order of appearence) one on your credit card? I had an opened account during an evening in the recent past and ordered a second round drink. When barwoman asked me for my first name I told her it. The first name on my c.c. is my surname so it took maybe one more minute to her to find the card. When she recognized the card she came to me screaming: "I asked you fourteen time what's your first name and you gave to me your last one!!" I thought she is absolutely stupid/unprofessional as she has not the skill to distinguish a real first name from the surname. And the owner didn't apologize himself with me and my friends, that were nauseated too, once knew what happened.................

Love Jones. This place is surprisinly nice. The bouncer at the door actually said thank you when he carded us. Go figure? The bartender was quite attentive. The seats by the bar are quite comfy and romantic. The drinks are still "hollywood" priced, but the service more than makes up for it. I've never eaten here but they serve food late nite and I hear it's good. Very nice establishment.
