What People Are Saying About Decades

In Short – A dramatic leopard-print staircase sets the tone for this singular boutique, stocked with lovingly curated vintage pieces. Silky Pucci blouses, sexy Versace sheaths, breezy Missoni knitwear and structured Herve Leger gowns are all drool-inducing, as are the primly elegant Dior cocktail dresses and iconic Chanel tweeds. The helpful staff will also knowledgeably guide the lucky ladies who shop here to heels by Ungaro and Halston, oversized Givenchy earrings and chocolaty Hermes bags.
Editor's Tips

They Asked For The Dress Off My Back!
by Delisa Toole
had a terrible customer service experience here. Literally asked for the dress off my back. I pulled a dress from the rack. An associate came as asked to start a dressing room and placed the dress in the dressing room. I went and tried it on and loved it. As I was looking in the mirror outside the dressing room ANOTHER associate came up and said you are not planning on buying that dress are you, because it is not for sale and I need it. I replied that it had a price tag on it. She asked me for the dress. I undressed and handed it to her - she put it in another dressing room - with NO APOLOGY. I am livid.
- Pros: Should be a great store
- Cons: Rude Rude Rude Sales Associates
Overpriced used clothes
by Jessica Lopez
From the second I walked in I felt like I should have been apologizing for not being Rachel Zoe, or at least not having some sort of eating disorder. I was greeted by a salesperson and asked what I was looking for, "I'm looking for a bridal gown" and he looked me up and down and said well we have this one BAHLENCEEAHGAAAAA, but that's it. Everything bridal goes fast and we have these... and then he walked away.
I just stood there thinking, helllo? Who let the air out of the room? So I looked around for a long as I could stand the discomfort of the stuffy attitude and left. The selection was alright, but the prices were SO INFLATED. And hello? Did you not get the memo that it's a recession? Maybe make an effort at customer service?
- Cons: overpriced, stuffy attitudes, did I mention overpriced?
Great Great stuff but very pricey

I often shop at Decades and love the great selection. One of my favorite resale shops. The prices are a bit crazy at times and I often see the same merchandise time after time but all in all this is really one of the best resale stores in Los Angeles. All high end designers and really good condition clothing.
- Pros: gorgeous clothing
- Cons: prices
Best vintage and pre-worn couture outside of New York!
by fashionistagirl
Decades has a great selection of designer vintage clothes - the best selection I've ever seen outside of New York City. From 60s Courreges to last season's Prada, Decades has it all. It's pricey, but worth it.
- Pros: selection
- Cons: none

Needed a gown for a black tie benifit. Salesman was low key, helpful-knew all the merchandise and what would fit me. Tried on 3 outfits and bought 2. Couldn't help myself. Selection is just STUNNING!!!!
