Budget-minded families and travelers make a run for America's leading taco chain..
In Short
A pink and blue color scheme, white tile floors and hacienda-like arched windows combine for a subtle Southwestern motif at this fast-food chain. Founded in Southern California in 1962 by Glen Bell (who invented the pre-fab hard taco shell), this casual order-at-the-counter Mexican restaurant features classics like tacos, nachos, quesadillas and burritos. In recent years, menu offerings have expanded to include specialty items like gorditas, chalupas and cinnamon twists.
More cheap eats, standard Taco Bell fare. Ya, it's basically like any other Taco Bell. Parking can be a bit difficult at times, but the food is pretty much as you'd expect...GOOD. Taco Bell is one of my vices. Unfortunately, my belt line tells. I'm a 3 soft taco fan with a side of plain nachos (with the melted cheese dip), plus an uber large Pepsi. :-)
May not be on your diet but always worth it. I always find myself at Taco Bell at least twice a month. I cant help it. The Supreme burritos are very tasty. I stick to the Mild Salsa sauce though. The Fire sauce is way too hot for me. Pepsi is offered there unlike some fast food places.
Taco Bell Rocks!. How can you go wrong? Burritos, tacos, quesadillas, everything is delicious and inexpensive. I have to stop by the Bell at least once a week to get my fix.
Bring back the Chihuahua. Good value for your buck. As soon as I'm off work I make a run for the border. Authentic mexican cuisine at it's finest!
