The worst . Having paid Albee's for an extended warranty that they did not properly implement, I am left paying for repairs out of pocket. I'd like to think they are inept but after several negotiations with them I'm convinced they take pleasure in ripping people off. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. Do not enter. When you look into the abyss it looks into you.

Awful Albee's Aldert. I'm hardly an Albee's virgin. I used to shop there for years; operative words being "used to". It used to be a neighborhood gem store easily solving every electronic and/or appliance dilemma. They had known brands and off-brands in every size for every home.apt./dorm room problem. There was always a wait for a sales person and when you finally got to one, they knew every feature, prize and size without a computer. They beat any major store in price and bent over backwards to deliver and install when convenient for you.

However...did I mention that I'm no longer a Albee's virgin or customer? Go in there now and there is no customer wait: not a good sign. The owners no longer work the floor and information and sales are left to a few salesman who are language and truth challenged. They are under obvious pressure to make the sale, at any cost. My last visit was for a microwave that I needed for an unusual opening. Naturally, off to Albee's I went only to be ignored and then lied to. I had done my homework as to price, size and features. They had only one in the back room to match my needs. The sales man confirmed it was a left-over or a return. The guy lied about the basic features since he was clueless about everything but the price. It was $150.00 HIGHER than any list price, not even counting sales at Best Buy/Sears. Plus, they do not know, nor care, about anything more than cash/charge and take it.

Presently, Albee's is a disgrace for their shoddy sales tactics. But compared to what they were, it is simply horrid. The sky high prices and misinformation (sales lies) on all of their items, sadly, makes them the place to go to be insulted and over-charged. And it has been sliding into that for the last year, not just one bad day. I'm done with Albee's and you should be, too.

Shady Business. I purchased 3 LG A/C units from Albee's for a project I was working on.

I discovered later on that ALL units I purchased had been reconditioned.

There was NEVER any verbal mention of it nor was it stated on invoice when I purchased.

AND I paid approx same price as new! What a rip-off.

As far as I am concerned those guys are total crooks and their business practices are very shady, buyer beware.

Pleasant, knowlegable staff, great price.. I bought a frige, electric stove and a dishwasher. Their prices is below Sears and Home Depot. They delivered the next day on time. Dishwasher installation was very professional. If you want to save money and time go here.

Save your money. Saved money on a fridge but ended up using up a whole work day waiting for delivery. Was told it would be delivered before noon, then before 3pm, then after calling after four was told only one driver was working and it would be coming late. Got there at 5:30pm. Each time I called I was given a different driver's phone number and told to call them myself. When it finally arrived there was a dent in the side and a part was missing. When I called the store yet again, I was told never to call Albee's again and hung up on. I couldn't believe it! I just wanted some communication all day. Time is money and I would have been better off going to a bigger name store that is trustworthy. I was afraid I was scammed. The salesman who sold me the fridge was the only helpful and pleasant person.

Got what I wanted fast and cheep.. I bought a refrigerator from there and this place is a jewel, the prices where lower then anywhere else and the staff was informative.

great experience. I ordered a new dishwasher from Albees's by phone and Albee's gave me a great price ($100 less than Sears). It was delivered the next day and installed by very efficient and helpful installers. I would highly recommend.
