Best food in town. Food is amazing. Every time I come here, I feel like I never want to leave. Very chic atmosphere with a relaxing mood.

The service is great and the staff really does a terrific job at taking care of you.

The appetizers are delicious.

Theres plenty of places to park: theres a parking lot across the street and a parkin garage up the street within walking distance.

Most of the time I find myself looking at my watch waiting for the food to come, but here I was so entertained with the fun atmosphere that I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived

Mon loses a 10 year client. Been going to this place for over 10 years, in the past 2 years the place has changed ownership at least 2 or 3 times. The latest change will kill this great local sushi restaurant. My wife and I walked in and sat next to the sushi bar and it took them 45min to get our first roll which was the wrong one. The Sushi chef was not wearing a hat or a hair net, and the staff were supper rude. There is lots of new places on 3rd st with great service and fresh fish.

eh...for the mood, good for rolls. a lot of rollls to choose from but not enough training. generally rolls are good and worth the money but not the most quiet and romantic place if you go for a special meal.

My first Chilean sea bass experience. So my buddy had been raving for months about Chilean sea bass... it cures cancer (not really, only Chuck Norris tears do that), makes you taller, better looking, etc. He finally got me to try it at Sushi Mon and I must say it was like something out of Ratoutouille. It could quite possibly be the best thing I've ever tasted. I've tried the same dish at four other restaurants and none compare to what I had at Sushi Mon that day. Oh, I've been there three times since and it's always amazing.

Fairly good, though overpriced sushi.. Had dinner here a few weeks ago. Admittedly, it was a Monday. The sushi was pretty good, though certainly not top-notch. The rolls, while creative and sometimes unique, were not all that great. We got a deep-fried salmon somethingorother roll that was mediocre at best. The fresh albacore nigiri sushi was good, the salmon was decent, the seared albacore was a tad dry, as if left out too long before being served. Atmosphere is alright. Decor is nice. Service was good. Prices were far out of line with the quality of the experience.

best fresh sushi in town!. if you want fresh, geat tasting sushi, then go to sushi mon in santa monica or beverly hills! i love the large sushi portions and fresh tasting! great service and the owners are so cool!

my fave sushi spot. I've been going to Sushi Mon for 10 years and even though I "cheat" on it once in a while, just thinking I have to mix it up and try new places, I always end up back at the sushi bar, wondering why I don't just go there exclusively. The prices are great, the staff are so nice and the quality of the fish is heavenly. The selection is great and its just plain delicious. All the expensive, fad places "of the moment" can do their thing, but people who like standard, delicious sushi should take note of this great place.

Great service and fabulous food. Love this place. My husband and I go here once and week at a least. Their cuisins are fusion especially a lot of rolls are but they are delicious. I have been a big fan of se*y roll and now I fell in love with spicy tuna cruch which is just heaven. There is this one server who has been waiting on my table for the last whole year I believe. She has recommended me to try since I like light dishes and since then, I always order the same things whenever I go therer. My husband orders same rolls that he always order but we never get tired of them. The food are great and the people are nice here. I saw some bad reviews here. I have had some experiece of slow service in the past when they got packed in the restaurant. Maybe it depends on who get to serve your table. I have had this young girl serving me for the last 1 or 2 years since I've been coming to this joint, whenever she served our table, there was no problem or delay. She always checked our food, I don't even have to order sometimes. She remembers our usual orders and brings things that I usually ask for even without me having to ask anymore. I have recommended this place to my friends and colleagues and so far it's been a success. I love the food here and I love the service here I hope others will get to experience the same pleasure as we do.

yummy sushi and quick service. We go to this place often for lunch at work. We love their exotic roles (the "se*y roll" and the spicy tuna on wontons are delic!). It's not a traditional sushi place but still yummy for a nice lunch

disappointing, drastic change, bad/rude service but cool deco. I like this place since they opened in my neighborhood. Cool deco much better food than before when they had shabu shabu. not warm but cool. I have become a regular since they opened but since the last 3 times of my visits, the food has been different. Same menu but different food. The sauces tasted different they rolls and salads they look different, crappy to be honest. I don't know what made things changed. The service was never good but I always came back for the food but not the food are very disappointing. The girls (servers) are never friendly some don't even understand English perfectly or they just don't listen to the customer's requests but the food had been the one that kept me coming back here but I don't know something has changed. When I asked the server what had changed they didn't answer. I returned the food back complaining that they are not same as before they two server just got annoyed and took the food back but still charged me for them. I liked this place for their food but it seems like for the last three times that I had been, as if the owner has changed or is going to and they will have no more business planning to go on. Bad service and bad food there's just nothing that will convince me to come back here then.
