Wonderful Restaurant. I love this place. Great food, service and not overpriced. A true neighborhood trattoria. It pays to be nice to your customers! People like it! Unlike a lot of quick to close LA Restaurants. Il Piccolino gets it.

The best. We love this restaurant. The food is always so amazing and the prices are unbelievable. I usually start with tuna carpaccio or the gamberonie salad. That's the best. Big shrimp, feta & mint over mixed greens. Then the fresh fish with olives, tomato, and cpaers. Service is always good. Best of all, the patio is fabulous! Twinkling lights & italian music. A small, cozy restaurant with a great vibe isn't easy to find in LA.

Candlelit patio seating, a legendary menu and charming ambience make this Italian eatery an ideal date destination.. The Scene
Elegantly nonchalant, you might not notice Il Piccolino if it weren't for the twinkly Christmas lights lining the cozy patio seating. Il Piccolino is an ideal spot for sparking romance or good after-dinner conversation over a fine Italian Chianti.

The Food
Feta-drizzled insalata Mikonos and a classic Caesar kick start Il Piccolino's Mediterranean menu. A more unusual insalata pescatore is served overflowing with warm, chewy garlic and lemon-kissed calamari hoops, shrimp and mussels--all of which are also found moonlighting in the seafood-stacked Spaghetti Tutto Mare. While the pasta Bolognese pleases with plenty of meat, entrees like the melted fontina- and prosciutto-laden chicken breast (Petto di Pollo alla Valdostana) and the rich, simmering strips of top loin steak slathered in a rich garlic and white wine sauce (Stracetti alla Romana) are definitely house favorites. Flaky cocoa-drenched house tiramisu and rich gelato spumoni appeases any sweet tooth, and is spectacular with an after-dinner port.

What a find!. I love the wonderful patio! I come here for business lunches and private dinners. It's my favorite place in the area. Everybody I have brought along loves it! The food is consistently great and the service is always charming.

Love the Garden and Food. Il Piccolino is a very cute restaurant. The food is great and the service is always very attentive. We visited the restaurant this past week and used the $10 off Citysearch Gift Certificate.

Cute country. With a cute, country-like setting, Il Piccolino is reasonably priced for the great food they serve. The exterior patio is canopied with vines and flowers. The entrance is a rustic metal gate as if it is leading you to an italian country cottage. They serve bread with a unique eggplant spread that's quite yummy. The parking is pretty limited since you can only park at the meters. The entire residential area is permit only parking. My usual choice is the pasta w/ chicken, brocolli and sun-dried tomatoes.

Grrrrrrreat!!. Totally cute and quaint. Off the beaten path. Genuine Italians at your service and not wanna-be, pouting actors/actresses. Great portions and tasty! Romantic and worth every cent . . .

Nice, quaint, and romantic. If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere in a quaint, cozy (don't gagg, I don't like the word either, but if you want to impress the lady "cozy" ain't a bad start) setting, this one delivers. It was the night after Valentines (my wife and couldn't go out this Valentines/Friday) and there were no long lines or crowds to fight for a table. With not a lot of tables to begin with, there were several that were available right away. I HAD made reservations, but they would not have been necessary, at least last night. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Even the parking was easy, right along the side street. Absolute hassle-free, romantic dining. I asked the lady who took my reservation "Are you SURE this place is romantic? Will my wife be impressed?" She said yes; she was right. Have fun....

Delicious entrees await. I've been here twice, and loved it both times. I've sampled the bowtie pasta with salmon in a pink sauce and a tasty linguini with shrimp entree. The linguini was cooked perfectly al dente. I would recommend both of these dinners. For dessert, the tiramisu is a great choice. In addition to the food, the ambience is romantic . Choose from the candelit main room or enjoy the outdoors on the small patio.
