About Sushi Roku on 3rd street

  • Open for lunch and dinner.
  • Voted best sushi in Los Angeles!
  • Three Los Angeles locations.

Sushi Roku's chefs prepare innovative small dishes out of succulent, sliced hunks of raw fish. The scallop dynamite is tender and sweet--one of the best in town--and the rich black cod is a perfect counterbalance to the more delicate sashimi dishes. Try any sashimi appetizer, such as salmon or bonito, with tangy garlic ponzu sauce and jalapeno tempura. There are also daily sushi specials that usually include rarer and more expensive Japanese imports such as ishi-tai (black tail snapper), sayori (half beak) and kohada (gizzard shad).  View Less View More

Hum, really within special on the food side. Was expecting more from omakase, sushi was very mediocre. Atmosphere is nice.

Best food in town. Food is amazing. Every time I come here, I feel like I never want to leave. Very chic atmosphere with a relaxing mood. The service is great and the staff really does a terrific job at taking care of you.

The appetizers are delicious.

Theres plenty of places to park: theres a parking lot across the street and a parkin garage up the street within walking distance.

Most of the time I find myself looking at my watch waiting for the food to come, but here I was so entertained with the fun atmosphere that I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived

Revamped and much improved. I always thought Sushi Roku was a "see and be seen" kind of place, and never found the food very memorable. My mind was changed when I recently used the Blackboard Eats special and had a 4 course prix fixe menu dinner here. It was amazing. Every bite was delectable. Tuna three ways appetizer, salmon carpaccio with shaved truffles, their Sushi Ume dinner, and the Molten chocolate cake for dessert, plus a bottle of sake. I don't know what that dinner would normally cost, but it was a brilliant move because I loved every morsel and would absolutely go back.
