If you're at LACMA, or working on the Miracle Mile. This place went into a decline a few years ago, and then a new owner came in and worked miracles. The food is clean, healthy and delicious - for very reasonable prices. Great breakfasts (omelettes, pancakes, homemade cereal) and lunches (salads and sandwiches) and dinner until around 8 pm or so. In addition to well prepared cuisine, the produce is always fresh and carefully selected. Swift, friendly service too. WiFi available except during lunchtime.

The best coffee service I've had in LA. The Gentleman with the black glasses is a service professional unnatural to this world and he makes a great mocha.

Wifi is off from 11am-2pm and you have to get login information from them, no problem's after that.

It's comfortable, the music is lovely but the service is too good, specifically the man with black glasses and grey hair. He will take care of you in a style similar to 5-star restaurants but for the 1-star price. This place is ideal for the camper who needs to write, edit or work on a story because he watches for your needs. He knew I needed some water before I did. Truly, if this gentleman is an example of the service normally received here, I wish I lived in this neighborhood to make this my favorite coffee shop.

If you're in the area and need a coffee shop, this is the place to stop.

Good Breakfast. This place is in a very unassuming strip mall on Wilshire, not too far from Museum Row and Fairfax. My expectations were low, but they do some good breakfast for an average price. I am typically very critical, but I find little to fault with this place. The waitress on Sundays is cute, friendly and attentive and the food is good. Fruit shakes are tasty (slightly pricey, but that's the norm for a blended fruit shake). My worst complaint is that the tables are a little close to each other, and the light coming in the window is harsh and bright in the morning. I wish they'd pull the shades. Otherwise, I plan to go back for Sunday breakfasts. Beats the heck out of any trendy below-average places that get good reviews.

Nice place for lunch. I've eaten at Caffe Late many times because I work right across the street. They serve a variety of delicious and inventive salads, omelets, scrambles and "breakfast" dishes. I hear their sandwiches are also good. The staff is friendly and they (usually) start the meal by serving you a warm fresh-baked corn muffin (unless they run out or the server forgets to bring the muffins). Although the service can be on the slow side, this is a good place for a healthy, delicious, reasonably-priced working lunch.

Neighborhood regulars and business folk file in for espresso drinks and light bites.. In Short
Sturdy wooden tables, cottage-paned windows and the aroma of fresh-ground coffee beans create an inviting, casual ambience. Surrealistic prints of long-gone Hollywood legends add a bohemian vibe. Complimentary poppy-seed muffins accompany Caffe Latte's acclaimed cappuccino. For lunch, the cafe serves salads, sandwiches and pastas like linguine with bacon, eggs and avocado. Most popular, however, is the brunch fare, such as apple-pecan pancakes, cinnamon-swirl French toast and an assortment of egg-and-vegetable specialties.

Coziest place to eat in LA. It was so warm welcome at the door to table. the staff was so nice and friendly...puppy seed muffin to begin even before order added as an appetizer..great salad-hard to finish by one person, great pasta by any way you like, greatest coffee in town-they actually roast their own coffee bean in front of your eyes if you are lucky to catch the right time...very cozy and yummy^^ great place to with your family, friends...

Hmm.... I ordered Pasta Mama but it came out lukewarm and I was not sure if its supposed to be like that or not. But luckily the next table had the same thing at the same time and their pasta was steaming hot. I asked the server to heat it again for me, but it was very obvious only my pasta was not hot at all and I didnt know why he didnt catch that before he served me. I didnt care about the pasta after all and I thought the price was bit over priced. But their coffee and poppy seed muffin were great.

great food and great service. although i've only tried their salads and breakfasts every dish has been excellent. the complimentary warm poppy seed muffin is delicious and always a welcome way to start the meal. their salads are amazing and really big portioned. i especially enjoy the rasberry nonfat dressing. it's so good you'd swear it's ladened w/ fats. don't forget to get a cup of coffee. both decaf and regular are amazing. the service here is excellent and friendly. i've never waited more than a few minutes to get water or a coffee refill. the main busboy/guy raises the bar for all other busboys in the city. sometimes i think the prices are a bit high but it's worth it.

Best breakfast in LA. A quaint cafe located in a strip mall. Caffe Latte has the best coffee anywhere! As you walk in, you see shelves of a variety of coffee beans that you can buy! The place is small, so seating is limited. But the quaintness gives the customer a more pleasurable & friendly environment as the staff is super nice. My usual is the pasta mama (linguini with bacon, eggs & avocado but made w/no oil or butter). Their salads are also quite tasty (i.e. Mango & Raspberry vinagrette salads). Since it is located in a strip mall, next to Wahoo's, the parking can get pretty tight.

Bonjour!. The best thing about waking up at the break of dawn to go eat with friends at this cozy lil' cafe is the warm smiles that greet you.

The coffee is DELICIOUS and the complimentary lemon poppy seed muffins are to die for.

I have also spotted celebrities at this breakfast cafe...from Jimmy Kimmel to Eliza Dushku (sp?).

There is lots of parking and if you get there early, there is no waiting. But if you decide to go during the weekend, expect to wait. But good things are always worth waiting for.
