The Scene – The place exudes the jolly ambience of a dark British pub; there are also small booths and tables along the perimeter of the room. Most people stake their claim near the bar. Patrons and performers from the Coronet Theatre next door often make appearances, as do exotic dancers from the strip club across the street. This is, however, primarily a watering hole for folks who live nearby. – – The Draw – The camaraderie among customers is clear, so much so that "Cheers" cliches come to mind, but even newcomers are happily welcomed into the fold. great cozy neighborhood bar

wonderful heavy pours by friendly bartenders that will remember your name. can be a bit loud at times but thats only because of the awesome music that they play. great crowd that loves to party and meet new ppl. definitely recommend.
- Pros: good drinks, awesome music, great crowd
- Cons: crowded, parking at times
Not a 10

I went to this place based on the reviews (all 10s) and was sort of shocked once I was there that people were raving about this place. It's tiny, dark, dank and dirty. Although the music was good, the beer selection was sad and overpriced, the service was indifferent and the crowd was non-descript. I just don't understand how this place has such high ratings.
- Pros: dive, music
- Cons: dirty, beer selection
Highly underrated

Just south of the silicon implanted, beemer cruising LA bridge and tunnel crowd, you will find the Coronet Pub. It's an ugly little place that defines "American bar." They have the fruity martinis, if you want them, but they know the appeal of a good whiskey. The drinks are generous and bartenders knowledgable and entertaining. The crowd runs the spectrum of A-list celebrities to local accountants, but no one really cares. Pretense is ignored at the least, ridiculed at the most. This place is not only defined by its rustic charm, but by the regulars who populate the joint. You would rarely draw a crowd this diverse anywhere, it's something to see and be appreciated. You'll want to plant yourself for the evening and watch the events unfold.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Welcoming, Busy enough
- Cons: Small, Parking, A bit loud
The Details on Coronet Pub
What to Drink:
The house specialty drink is the Seventeen Days in a Crack House, a lethal concoction of five liquors and three juices. The bartender's pours are long, so sip with caution.
