Wow! I got rescheduled for a bigger name too!!. Wow! The same thing happened to me although my party was not cancelled but was rescheduled. I did the same thing in preparation for the party. I stayed in contact, had a letter confirming the date and time and the day before, when I called to triple confirm I was told that I had the time wrong, even though I had a letter from them confirming the time. We were able to reschedule for later in the day and they did give me a substantial discount. It was a couple of years ago so I don't remember how much the discount was so although I was not happy, the party went on. Nice to know that this is what they do when a bigger name calls. I thought it was a one time occurrence. I will definitely let anyone I refer to them know about this tendency of theirs. But the girls had a fabulous time once we were there.

They Cancelled On Us Two Days Before My Daughter's Birthday Party!. They cancelled our party two days before my daughter's birthday! We booked a party here and sent in the deposit more than two months in advance. They sent us a contract and I kept in touch with them. They confirmed the date and number of guests three times the week of the party. The last call was at noon to confirm the party and three hours later, they called to say they doubled booked. One guy was very nice, but the general manager and the manager were rude and I got three different stories from the three of them.

All of the girls had been talking about this for two months and I was so worried about telling my daughter it was cancelled. They told me I could simply change the date to another weekend! Two days before! That was not possible because we had family who flew in from the East Coast just for this party. I remained calm (my husband didn't) but when I got three different stories and a rude manager (who must have mistaken me for the person who made a big deal and got my party date and time by what she said to me) I was done with this place.

I found out from people in the area that they have done this to others. Some moms said if a celebrity calls last minute, they will take them. I have no idea what really happened so I don't want to make assumptions. I just would never go there. They lost my business.

We put together a last-minute party at home - we bought dress-up kits at Costco and some used ones from moms in Mom's Club, got a dressing room/fashion show runway with lights and sounds from Toys R Us, makeup kits for each girl and had Cinderella come. It was really fun!

I also heard from moms I know that they are really rude there, the service is horrible, it's like a factory and the food is awful. I also heard good things from others. But how can you plan a little girl's party there not knowing if they will cancel on you at the last minute?
