I'm very picky when it comes to brazilian waxing. I want to be as pain-free, quick, and no-nonsense as possible. Raya is my go-to waxing spot. I never need to request a special person, as everyone I've had there has been great.

I have facial at least once a month at this place. You can't beat the price and the quality - cleansing, steam, extractions, two masks, eye, lip treatment, heated hand mitts, and a REALLY good upper body massage. I love my aestheticia, she does the best extractions and facial massage, period. I have sensitive skin and get breakouts here and there, Julie always managed to get rid of them, leaving no scar behind (redness right after the facial is acceptable) and PAINLESS.

There is a good reason that most everyone raves about Raya Spa (there are always a few weirdos that don't get it when a great thing is right in front of them). I have discovered the secret to awesome skin: A Real European Facial. Here you are getting a facial that actually does something. If you have had a facial that goes like this: Someone gently spread some goo on you, swirled it around, washed it off, put some cucumbers on your eyes and rubbed your shoulders, then you just got ripped off (probably for $100+). A real facial means you leave feeling a little "worked on" from the cleaning and exfoliating, but a few days later your skin glows, it feels younger, softer and unmistakably fresh. When you feel this way, then you know you got your facial at Raya.

I love this place! I started getting facials at Raya Taver back in 1991 and here we are 17 years later and I drive from the South Bay to the La Cienega spa. The staff is so friendly and the facials are unbeatable. They are so thorough with extractions yet my face doesn't look like a war zone when I leave. The products are terrific - I won't use anything else on my skin and I love all the new stuff like the Brightening Serum..great stuff. And the value of it all....unbeatable!

My first visit to Raya was incredible. I was told that they offer a good service in a clean setting at a good price, but that is a tremendous understatement. My skin looked smoother and felt softer immediately and I continue to see results with their products (exclusive to their spa) weeks after. The place is the best kept day spa I have ever experienced. No expense was spared, it is very impressive. Especially impressive when you get the bill. HALF of what I have paid elsewhere in Los Angeles. If you get a spa facial you also get to use their incredible spa facilities (Like a roman bathhouse). I truly recommend this place, you have to visit for yourself. It is organized, clean, professional, elegant and a great deal.

This place is fantastic. I went a couple of weeks ago and had their popular European facial. I almost fell asleep from feeling so relaxed the very sweet lady massaged and pampered my face. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The best thing about the place is the ambience. You walk into a serene, beautiful limestone and glass type of space (they must have used a great designer), with soft classical music playing. The girls at the front desk couldn't have been more attentive. The facility is always clean and the hours and location are convenient.

I've been having facials at Raya for 5 years now, and this place is truly exceptional! Their prices have been consistently low over the years, and the quality of the services has always been top notch.

The spa looks and feels like you should be paying over $120.00 for a facial (especially in this hip neighborhood), but when the bill comes, it is pleasantly low ($67). To me facials are a necessity, not a luxury, and I finally found a place that makes it possible to actually maintain my skin regularly

What a marvelous experience! What an amazing place! I just had my first facial from Raya, and received so many compliments on how my skin looked, I was stunned. They don't create smoke and mirrors, but rather honestly assess your skin needs, and advice in a practical manner. Of course, we care about our appearance; otherwise we wouldn't be getting a facial. However, no one wants an approach to skin care which is superficial. There's nothing superficial or just-focused-on-appearance about Raya's approach. I also really appreciated the reasonable cost, particularly compared to the high prices of facials elsewhere, which so often go along with lots of "fluff" --- neither of which you will find at Raya.
