In Short – The salon caters mostly to women, but men are welcome, and both can bake in the buff. The salon houses seven traditional tanning beds, as well as the swank Sunvitale, which features an oxygen tank to increase melanin, an aromatherapy misting system, and an air-conditioner for ventilation. Other perks include phones in every bed, a digital music library with more than 900 titles, and a house line of aromatherapy and tanning lotions sold in the lobby.

- Friday afternoon is the salon's busiest time. Be sure to make an appointment to beat the weekend rush.

- Employees are required to do an initial consultation with all new clients, no matter where or how often they've tanned in the past.

- For the fake without the bake, try the Mystic tanning booth. It simultaneously sprays both back and front with a solution that doesn't leave the blotchy tan of most self-applying lotions.

flawless tan

I just moved to the West Hollywood area and was looking for a new place to tan. I called around and even though this place was more expensive than my last salon, the girl on the phone was so sweet and took the time to explain their services. I was impressed. When I went in I thought the salon was beautiful, they made me a latte, and I ended up getting a series of the airbrush tans. It came out flawless and I'm going to get it done again for my upcoming wedding. I am very happy I found this place.

Best tanning salon in Los Angeles!!!

I travel all over the United States for business and have tried many salons in the Los Angeles area. Recently on the advice of a friend who lives near 3rd st in L.A. I tried UVASUN....WOW!!! UVASUN is by far the best tanning salon in the L.A. area. The girls that work there are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I cant tell you the name of the bed that I tried but it was great...two sessions and I was TAN!

LOVE THIS PLACE!

I have been coming here for over a year. It is the best place to get any sort of tan, plus other beauty treatments like the light therapy. The staff are so incredibly friendly and I never feel pressured at all. I love the coffee bar and the amazing skin line that they sell. I'd never go elsewhere because the packages are great, the service is wonderful and I always leave feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
