The teachers here range from so-so to great, but the owner, Perry......she is looooong over due for some anger management classes. She walks around with a sour look on her face, her hands on her hips and yells at the first person she can think of something to yell at them for. I felt bad enough for the instructors but even worse for the students. She's a piece of work!
Pros: Good teachers, large rooms
Cons: The owner, Perry

My fiance and I needed a few lessons within the month before our wedding just so we wouldn't have to do the usual boring shuffle for the first dance. My friend recommended this place after taking a set of ballroom dancing classes and said the instructors were great (she liked Cathy). I thought the prices were competitive, parking turned out to be really easy at the Beverly Center, I had no problem with the staff, and you can bring your music on cd or ipod. I also liked the private air-conditioned rooms (really helps you focus). We took just 2 private lessons with Danny, who I think really gave us our money's worth by teaching us several simple, but elegant, steps and turns and a dip for the end. I also think Danny did a great job teaching my fiance, who really had to do all the learning and just about all the work since he's the guy. With all the craziness of planning a wedding, my fiance and I found ourselves happy and smiling each time we left the studio and so, I highly recommend this place as well as Danny for an instructor.
Pros: parking (at Beverly Center), private air-conditioned rooms, decent prices, good hours
Cons: small waiting area, no credit cards accepted
