It wasn?t a fun night at all. I usually stay away from the Cheesecake factory because I don?t like the cult of the masses. My friends seem hypnotized by a spell compelling them to go there al the time. Like a good friend, I finally caved in and went with them to the location in the Grove. I ordered the four cheese pasta which sounded like an easy enough selection. I think the restaurant sensed I was immune to its spell because even though I was one of the first to order, my dish came last after everyone dug in already.

The pasta was dry and lacked in taste. When I asked the waitress to change the order she gave me a sneering look that ruined the evening completely. I came in with an open mind, I liked the atmosphere, the appetizers were yummy and fun, and I understand that occasionally some dishes may not come out right, but when the business will not do what is needed to correct things and the waiters give you a hard time instead of making the experience as comfortable and as complete as possible, I just never come back.

Worst Experience. I personally think Cheesecake is overrated...although usually good food and service are provided. however, on my last trip to the brentwood cheesecake factory i was furious. My friend had to convince me to try it out, and promised brentwood always has great service. It took 10 minutes to seat us when there were clearly 100 open tables. We waited for 30 minutes for WATER, and even longer for our waitress to actually come and talk to us. She didnt care about us at all and we even over heard her and another waiter arguing over who was going to take tables because they were so "slammed," mind you-it was not busy at all. When we finally go our meal it was terrible, my burger was overcooked and my friends pasta was something we couldve microwaved. Not only that but the drink i ordered was terrible. When my friend complained to the manager he gave him a look like, "what do you want me to do?" So he comped our 2 drinks, and when i ran out of water and needed something to drink he pulled the margarita out of my hand before i could take a sip. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO A CHEESECAKE FACTORY, ever!

Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain.. In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

A big group dinner place. Though I've had mixed experiences (slow service, even food poisioning) at other Cheesecake Factory locations, the Brentwood location has always been a reliable bet. I like the Cheesecake factory especially because they offer a huge menu selection, so it's perfect for a large party since everyone can find something they like. My favorite part happens to be the bread, and ff course, the Cheesecake is incredibly rich- this is not a diet place, but it sure is good. I've sighted some celebs dining here

Two weeks of trainig?. I was not very impresed with this restaurant!! I heard the waiters and waitres take 2 weeks of training. What do they learn??? The waitres had an attituted like she was doing us a favor in serving us. Then when I ask for the check it took forever to get it and she brought the wrong check. We waited a long time to be seated.....Well not anymore as I will never go back to any cheescake factory in the country. At one point I was thinking buying stock of this company. I'm glad I didnt!

Check out the Happy Hour. Good food at good prices. Service in the bar was great. Make sure you get there at 4 if you want to sit with a big group.

Awful Dining Experience. Although the food is what you'd expect from this Vegas-inspired absurdity, the service is perhaps the worst I've ever experienced. Our server had no hospitality skills with a bad personalty to match, rarely did we see her, having to call over others to help us. If it weren't for the other peopIe I was with, I would have walked out. I should have re-gifted my Cheesecake Factory gift card to an anonymous stranger, or perhaps lost it.

I don't understand why people like this place so much.. The only reason I went here was because my friend wanted to go. This was my first Cheesecake Factory experience and I have to say I was not impressed. The place is huge but it took forever to get seated. The decor on the inside is horribly gaudy, however the outdoor patio is somewhat nicer. It was a little bit chilly out and it took forever to get someone to light the patio heater at our table. The menu is overwhelming and I was offended that every other page is an advertisement!

Avocado Eggroll appatizer was quite tasty, unfortunately it was the highlight of the meal. My pasta was dried out and really quite average. All the food on the menu is much too rich and large in portion for a place that pretty much obligates you to order dessert by it's name. I had the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert; it was good, but certainly not the best cheesecake I have ever had.

I don't think I'll go back to a Cheesecake Factory anytime soon and I think I would or been much happier to spend $30 on a meal at a unique locally owned restraunt with a carefully crafted menu rather than a chain that tries too hard to satisfy too many people.

Fun, great food, but a little overpriced. I love going to Cheesecake Factory with friends for a luncheon or early dinner, but would never go from 7-8. Seating at that time is horrendous, so go on the off hours for promt seating. The food is really great (the Macaroni and Cheese is to die for!), but a bit overpriced for what it is. The indoor floor is great for large parties or kids, and the outside patio is perfect for a romantic evening. Cheesecake isn't the only thing this place has to offer.
