old syle. try the #19. We find it so fun when we are in the area. Only open in daytime makes it harder to get there when Langers is open.

Best pastrami sandwiches west of the Rockies. Run to langers if you want the best pastrami sandwiches in L A. Run after because you will need to trim some calories afterwards.

Really Good Pastrami. Meat? Good, pastrami? Good! Not the BEST deli I ever ate at, but you know what? In a pinch this place is just fine. By the way... stuffed cabbage is not bad at all. I agree with some that if you do the curbside pick up CHECK YOUR ORDER, but then again, what boob doesn't? If you don't you deserve it, don't you? Anyhow, lika da Langers, but yes, there are others that rock just as much if not more. Yelp should organize a pastrami sandwich off so we can all decide, no? Am I asking too many questions? Bon Apetite

Overpriced...Way overpriced!. The food was OK...In my and my husband's opinion, not great! Way overpriced for what you get. Its a California landmark and famous...but for us...once was enough.

Pricey but Excellent. The claim to fame of these delicious sandwiches is the driving point about the price, I think (which is inflated a bit), however it is a wonderful experience to sink ones teeth into one of these. Great for work lunch orders.

Best Pastrami in the LA area. I just ate at the famous Langer's deli for the first time and it was as amazing as I had heard!!! The service was quick and the food was delish! I ordered the oh so famous #19 and it was to die for. The rye bread had a super crispy crust and a super soft middle. The pastrami literally melted in my mouth. Definitely the best pastrami in LA and I have been to many a deli in the Los Angeles area.

Yummmmm!!! Pastramiiiiiii!!!. Best Pastrami in the world. Yes I can say that. Just be careful, because once you eat their pastrami, you just will not like anyone else's.

Location a bit undesirable, but they have curbside pickup, works for me.

Best Pastrami Sandwich Ever.. My wife and I love pastrami sandwiches and didn't realize we lived next to the best in the world. My wife is from NY, and we did the NY deli tour several times. Have been looking for NY like pastrami in LA, but didn't realize how good it can be untill we tried Langers. Atmosphere and service was perfect from the moment you enter to doors, after you pass through the Tijuana like atmosphere from the parking lot to Langer's. We sat at the counter and ordered #19 (Pastrami on twice baked rye bread with slice of swiss, cole slaw, and russian dressing) and #55 (Corned beef on rye bread with cole slaw and russian dressing). Both sandwiches came with pickles that were cruchy and juicy with the perfect amount our sourness.

I had high expectations but was ready to be disappointed yet again from my memories of NY pastrami sandwiches, but after the first bite, I was in pastrami heaven. The crust of the bread was perfectly crunchy while the inside was soft and chewy. The cole slaw was surprisingly so creamy and good and complemented the sandwich in a way I didn't think possible. At first, I didn't think I wanted the pastrami with cole slaw or swiss cheese, but when in Rome.. had to try what everyone was talking about.

Now the pastrami itself was juicy, tender, smoky goodness that blew all my expectations away. Simply the best I've ever had and my wife agreed completely.

There were several gentlemen sitting next to us who were all first timers at Langer's, and their sentiment was equal to us. Everyone was blown away and at a loss for words as we devoured our precious sandwiches. The place was packed with a line starting to form at the door, the servers were everywhere attending to the patrons' needs, and the pastrami carver was going to town and the smoky hot meats with their big knives, trying to catch up to the orders coming in, but we were lost in our taste buds of how good it can really be, when it's done right. Oh and the corned beef, just as good as the pastrami.

This place is really worth whatever it takes to get there. I thank God I live close. Just don't forget they close by 4pm and don't open on Sundays.

You can't judge any pastrami sandwiches until you've had Langer's, but then why would you want to try any other after?

Loved it. My friend and I went for breakfast today. I ordered bagles and lox, they gave me two bagels piled high. they were d'lish. my friend ordered corned beef hash and eggs with salsa that was really good. too. The only bad thing was the bad neighborhood. what neighbood is that any way?

Great Pastrami Sandwiches. Yum! Although this restaurant is in a sketchy area and you have to park a block away, this sandwich is really worth the trip.
