One thing USC has over UCLA is La Taquiza. The house specialty are mulitas which are like quesadillas on steroids. You will love it.

Great Authentic Mexican Food! Highly Recommend!. I usually get an Al Pastor Burrito (marinated pork). The burrito is a great meal and the meat is tender and flavorful. I also recommend the Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice). The plate is huge and filling. The salsa bar has an array of salsa, including my favorite the marinated onions. Its close to USC and just south of downtown LA.

Best Mexican Food Around. We fell upon it living in LA years ago. We have been hooked ever since. We live in the South Bay and drive there all the time just for there Asada Burritos, Mullitas and Tacos al Pastor. There is NOTHING better around. Now all my family & freinds drive there too!! Only one bad thing..it is in a dangerous area. They do have other locations.

Tasty, Authentic Food!. Great place for an inexpensive, tasty Mexican meal. The extensive menu has everything from tortas, tacos to seafood platters. My favorites are the sauteed shrimp burrito (w/rice, beans, gualcamole, sour cream) and the tacos al pastor. The al pastor is excellent.........tender, with just the perfect amount of fat! LA's full of great Mexican joints. This is one of my favorites!

Authentic Mexican. Great place to get a quick bite to eat for lunch or for dinner, but don't go there if you're on a low fat diet. This Mexican food joint is all about the authentic tastes of Mexico. It's fast and very cheap.

One of the best Mexican restaurants!!!. As a student at USC, I first encountered this restaurant with my fiance. We have been hooked ever since. We now dine at the Whittier location more often, which has a nicer decor. Everything at this restaurant is worth salivating over. Personally, I recommend the carne asada tacos, mullitas, and halibut tacos. Try it and you'll be hooked as well.

Great and authentic. La Taquiza has the food of Mexico, not "American-Mexico." All items are delicious and the service is friendly and as good as family.
