better food else where, too congested, needs beautification
by tpmarquez
This could be a fabulous Mexican Plaza, with restaurants, and best Mexican food in LA, with a Spanish brick designs, flower and open space, greenery is in great need of a business consultant and a architect designer. The place is cold, not people friendly, it does not have a welcoming gesture or atmosphere to the place.
instead is turned into a swap meet, of baby clothes, plastic cheap toys, sale of mexican music and magazines, pinatas, they all carry the same merchandise, the only interesting place was the western boots places, beautiful styles.. Is not very clean, the rest rooms should not be use. Walking in to the Mercado from the parking is not a great view of a place you want to go into. garbage pile up on the sides of the building. You must speak Spanish, is not like in Mexico that everyone speak English. This is right next to New East Side Gold Line, a tremendous opportunity a nice business, , The neighborhood is being renovated because of the Gold Line construction, this is an opportunity for this business to build a better business. The Mercado is like one of those houses in your neighborhood that was never remodel, or up keep, in need of coat of paint, and some maintenance, and is devaluating your property..
- Cons: El Mercado has a lot of business pontential, so sad
