Intimate and charming, BYOW

by allie_arden at Citysearch

Every time I come here it feels like family: super-cozy, good service and food is tasty. Minus half a star because parking can be a chore and no liquor license, but you can bring your own bottle of wine and they'll open it and give you wine glasses, free of charge. I love the quattro stagioni pizza (unusual but great combo of toppings) and the pasta with pesto sauce, and anything with the piccata sauce! They also deliver, which is great when you just don't feel like missing Family Guy :)

Poor Service - Twice in a Row and a hair in the food!

by summertime18 at Citysearch

I had a disappointing experience at Ugo in the past, but it was month's ago, so I decided to give it another chance. I went with a couple of friends for lunch. Things started out okay, but soon took a turn for the worse. The waitress gave us about five minutes to look at the menu before asking us what we wanted to order. She then took about 15 minutes to get our drink order. The food is not terrible, but it's also nothing special for the price you pay. I ordered the chicken and vegetables and received three thin pieces of burned chicken that could have been taken from a Lean Cuisine box. The most annoying thing though, was the fact that the waitress didn't seem to be listening. I specifically asked to have the vegetables brought out without any butter or salt and they came out doused in butter. When I mentioned it to the waitress she just shrugged it off. My friend also asked about some soup that he had ordered - all of us at the table heard him order it - and the waitress basically denied that he had ordered it and then didn't bother to ask if he still wanted it. Then, to top things off, one of my friends found a hair in his sandwich. Ultimately, I will not return to this restaurant. It's just not worth it when you can have a much better meal and experience elsewhere.

greasy food

by caligirl400 at Citysearch

This place is good if your in a hurry. The pizza and the garlic bread is extremely greasy. The toppings on the pizza are always centered in the middle of the pizza, not evenly spread out. The garlic bread is too greasy too even touch.
