Sandwich chain offers healthy alternatives for diners on the go.. In Short
Subway's health-conscious menu is built around greaseless deli sandwiches--turkey, chicken, roast beef, etc.--made on soft rolls baked daily in-house. Customers pick white, wheat or a specialty bun, name the length, choose the toppings and watch as the sandwich moves down the assembly line. Wraps, melts, salads and chips by the bag diversify the streamlined menu. And despite the bread factor, Subway boasts numerous successful weight-loss stories and low-carb menu items.

Bad customer service. In relation to the store, 11100 W Olympic Blvd.

I love Subway but, on Tuesday, Sept. 26 before noon, I went into this store for the first time. My friend was told they'd be one minute as they were busy (not serving customers). I soon joined him. We were the only people there. After a minute I tried to make eye contact with them. I then joked, sayin aloud, "I don't think they're serving here." One person behind the counter was testing the tempature of the foods, two others were also in view and ear shot. I then talked aloud about how they weren't serving to my friend so they could hear and added that if they didn't serve us soon or look at us, we'd leave.

After about three full minutes and an additional customer, we left and got a great burito at the Mexician Grill a few doors down.

The Subway next to were I work in Gardena on El Segundo near Hawthorn Airport could teach these guys alot. They smile, joke and give top notch service.
