I've gone to Regis a couple of times before with no stylist in mind, and had a different one everytime, but now I know I'll only be sticking with Jay! He was fantastic and did exactly what I wanted!! I would def recomend this salon! Everyone is great, and sooo friendly. Plus you can't beat those prices!!!

She was the best. Ok so I was at the mall and walked by this salon. And i heard one of the stylist there (sylvia) talking to a lady about a product and it sounded like she knew what she was talking about plus she looked really good too hair done nice outfit, so i walked in and got my hair done by her and omg Ive been getting so many compliment on it. she really knows her stuff.. by the way she was doing my hair answering phone and was helpping other stylist. so i guess i just found my new salon!!!
walk ins welcome!. NELLIE was fabulous! I've been looking for a good place for a while now. I just happened to walk in and they took care of me right away. She asked me many questions and was quite attentive. She gave me a great cut and showed me a few styling tips. I've gotten so many compliments on my haircut! I've finally found my hair salon.
loved this girl. I went to the Regis Salons to get a Haircut because i wanted something new done to my hair and the lady i go to never wanted to change my hair. So i went to the regis in the westside pavilion and ask for a more senior stylist and they gave my Sylvya ( yes thats how she spells it check her card) i came in and told her i wanted to change my hair. she asked me so many questions. whicke made me feel good like she really wanted to know about me and my hair. anyways i ended up getting color done( Inever had color done before) she also added shine to my hair. as she was working a few other girl who worked there came over and asked what and why she was doing what she was doing. (later she told me she was the salon instructor) the cut was great and the color was great. she also showed me how to style me hair.. I loved it and if you are going to a regis salon you should go to the one in this mall and get Sylvya

worst stylist ever! beware of DANA. I called up for an appointment and was given to someone named Dana. When I met her I was shocked by her overall appearance. She was not stylish and unprofessional. I was shocked that she worked at a place like Regis. I just need a simple cut (light layers and 1/2 inch trim on the ends). Dana did a horrible job! She gave me choppy layers that did not blend well together. While she cut my hair, her hands were trembling. It took her almost 2 hours for her to do my hair. She clearly did not know how to cut my hair. To finish it off, she had no idea how to dry my hair. I left the hair salon completely dissatisfied with Dana. I will never return to that salon. Beware of someone named Dana.
SENSITIVE STAFF!!!.
MY BEATUTICAN WAS ON VACATION WHEN I NEEDED MY HAIR WASHED...SO I CALLED REGIS TO SET AN APPOINTMENT. THE LADY WHO ANSWERED THE CALL WAS GOING TO TAKE ME, UNTIL I ASKED HER IF THEY PROCESSED ALL HAIR TYPES. SHE SEEMED TO BECOME IRRITATED AND STARTED RECOMMENDING THAT MAYBE I SEE ANOTHER BEAUTICIAN (WHO HAPPENED TO BE A NEW EMPLOYEE AND MAYBE JUST OUT OF BEAUTY SCHOOL) IM LIKE WHATEVER, I JUST WANTED TO GET THE WORK DONE. WHEN AT THE FRONT TO PAY, THE LADY FROM THE PHONE WAS ALL UP IN MY FACE BEING SARCASTIC - SAYING STUFF LIKE "OH YOUR HAIR LOOKED NICE WHEN YOU CAME IN" "OH IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER BEFORE" ETC...SHE WAS JUST STARING AT MY HAIR AND AT ME.
BOTTOM LINE, A QUESTION ABOUT HANDLING ALL HAIR TYPES IS NORMAL, NOT AN OFFENSE! FOR EXAMPLE WHEN YOU PURCHASE FACIAL PRODUCTS, IT TELLS YOU BEFORE YOU BUY IT - "WORKS ON ALL SKIN TYPES." IT WAS COOL AT FIRST, BUT FOR HER TO STAND THERE AND HARASS ME WAS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WLL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO REGIS.
WHEN YOU WALK IN, HER CHAIR SITS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SHOP AND I THINK SHE WAS A MANAGER OR SOMETHING...UNFORTUNATELY I DID NOT GET HER NAME AT THE TIME..

THE best cut I've ever had!!!. Granted the place itself isn't too creative, but the staff is WELL qualified! I had Maria cut/style my hair, and I'm overly satisfied and happy. I thought the total cost was going to be an arm and a leg, but it came out much better than I had expected! No sales pressure to buy products at all! I was able to get an appt 30 mins before showing up. Maria was attentive and knew exactly what I wanted to have done. I WILL be returning to her everytime! I'm also going to take advantage of the student discount nextime (20% off from Mon-Thurs). You should go here for a great cut/style for a FANTASTIC price!
Yadi is the best!. It took me months to find a descent place to get my hair cut after moving to L.A. I arrived at Regis by accident looking for someone to fix the current cut I had and when Yadi put her hands on my hair I knew I would never go to anyone else. She gives great cuts and is able to find you cut that really suites your face and style. She does an amazing bob and was able to control my thick and unruly hair. The salon itself is o.k....the most you can really expect from a mall salon, but it really does have some great stylists.
Beware of Tina!. The stylist's work was average at best. When my color treated hair started hair grew out a bit I noticed gold "flecks" in it as well as frizziness. The stylist told me she was putting "delicious gold pigmenting" in my hair but did not describe what she meant, she told me to trust her, I did. I hated it, I went back and complained. The stylist proceeded to embarass me in front of the whole salon with her sarcastic comments, tone and high voice level. (Everyone turned to look at us wheh she started speaking to me this way.) She then shifted her attitude. My appointment was repeatedly interrupted with her personal visitors and comments about co-workers. To be fair, the color correction was satisfactory and she did not charge me for it, but I will never go back.
